  1. Yes, you can cancel but remember there's a time frame involved as to what form of refund you'll receive. It will either be a credit back to the card you used or an OBC.
  2. We did the Panama Canal full transit October 2022 but no idea about the ocean view but I do know am glad I booked when it was first released as the price went way up and never came down.
  3. Try Hampton Inn Suites Blue Lagoon. They offer a shuttle from MIA to their hotel. Not sure about a shuttle to POM but a taxi/Uber would work out easy also.
  4. Our last Celebrity cruise had flowers in the cabin. And yes, I remember those long ago RCI flower carts. Bringing them on yourself is too much of a hassle.
  5. We did stay in the tourist areas and apparently so is the OP and why I offered that they shouldn't be concerned about speaking French !! au revoir 😉
  6. We get our tags from the porter and write our cabin number on them...good to go and have never had a problem.
  7. Yes...the trolley (HOHO) is a great option...we loved it !!
  8. I will disagree about needing to speak French. We spent four pre-cruise days in Quebec City and had no problem at all !!!
  9. We used Euros during our pre-cruise in Amsterdam last July 2022 for everything except our hotel (credit card). Depending where your hotel is use the transportation you want...we opted for a taxi from Banks Mansion to the port. Amsterdam port was one of the best organized ports we've sailed from...great service.
  10. I believe it was about a 40 min ride. Then we spent time looking at the animal exhibits until the show started.
  11. Many many years ago once or twice we used an area up stairs at San Pedro for JS and above...however I haven't seen that or needed that in a long time. Even before the key or designated times the suite line at San Pedro has always been quick and easy for us. Have sailed out of this my home port many times. Good info from the above poster.
  12. We've spent a few pre-cruise days in Quebec City and everyone we encountered spoke English. QC is a very easy town to navigate. We're going to their Xmas Market this December.
  13. We've done the Sawgrass Recreation Park and really enjoyed not only the airboat tour but the animal exhibit and show too.
  14. Not sure if it's the same one...but we did the RCI DIY and it was great. It included roundtrip transportation with a great guide that gave us so much info as we drove in to Florence. Once to our drop off spot (Santa Croce Square) we were given maps and a time to meet back up for the trip back to the ship. We've done this DIY option twice and would certainly do it again.
  15. We're on RCI Jewel British Isles roundtrip from Amsterdam July 18, 2024. This itinerary usually books up very fast. Best of luck finding one that works for you.
  16. We were in Ketchikan last September and didn't see them. What "store" was it? The pic looks like a pop up tent.
  17. Just outside the gate at Mazatlan are taxi's. We always take one into town and have them drop us off at the Mercado for some shopping. We then cross the street around the corner and eat at the Panama Bakery (ask any locals and they'll point you in the right direction). Also easy to then hail a taxi to take you back to the port. Yes, you could walk the blueline into town but we prefer not to.
  18. Our hotel (Place d' Armes) easily called a taxi for us. We were told to wait out front and given a number to give to the taxi driver (as many taxi's were coming and going) so he would know it was us and not let anyone else try to use our called for taxi. Worked out very easy.
  19. Taxi's will be available to take you up to the upper town if you decide not to walk.
  20. We've done the Bering Sea 3 times. Two of the three it was less expensive to book directly however this last September it was less to book directly with RCI. So always a good idea to compare I was completely surprised with this. We were docked directly across from the ramp to board the Aleutian Ballad and were the first in line. Even if you booked with the cruiseline no need to go with the group..just take your ticket and go get in line. There's always a mix of of passengers from direct booking and from any other ships in port.
  21. Our private shuttle (Cruise Control) was just outside the exit and saw many other companies there as well.
  22. Yes...call them and always pre-book. Their very popular and book up fast. I booked with them almost a year in advance for a private roundtrip for my extended family of six. 888 416-8830 More than likely Corey the owner will answer.
