  1. Feel better and thanks for taking your valuable time to post. In a Sky Suite in November on the Silhouette.
  2. We have a Sky Suite booked in November on the Silhouette. Our first suite ever and maybe our last since we are retired and live only on social security. We are celebrating our mutual retirements. There are many people up in arms about not having a dedicated butler. Some are even canceling their cruise. Some say they are done with Celebrity. It would be nice to hear from someone who is actually on a current cruise and can comment. I am sure that I am not the only curious person. Thanks.
  3. Courtyard by Marriott Cruise Port
  4. We booked a Sky Suite for our upcoming cruise in November. Very interested in hearing about everyone’s opinions since it starts today. Thanks.
  5. My husband wanted to add an extra day before our cruise. We and another couple are sailing on the Silhouette on November 6th out of Fort Lauderdale. Our first night was $235 and the second a whopping $371. The upside, they have free shuttle service to the cruise terminal.
  6. The menu is on the Celebrity website
  7. We have a 10 day cruise in November on the Silhouette. First time in a suite. My husband was on the website yesterday and saw that if you prepay for laundry, it is 49 a bag. On board, it is $60.
  8. We sail in 3 months and have not seen an email
  9. Like night and day in my opinion. Celebrity is more upscale. Feels less crowded. No rowdy deck parties. Food is better. Hated Carnivals buffet whereas we love the Ocean View Cafe. Felt pampered on Celebrity. Hardly saw our room steward on Carnival. We prefer Celebrity but since we live on social security, we said Carnival.
  10. Went to the Florida State Fair and there was a booth. Condominium Travel Club.
  11. We got good news, we are also getting $500 obc.
  12. We sat through a 90 minute presentation that offered a free cruise. We just booked the Paradise for next December. It is a five day that leaves out of Tampa. We had to pay port fees and taxes plus we added gratuities and insurance. It was less than $500.
  13. Plus we upgraded from an inside to an ocean view cabin
  14. Not a $500 deposit, on board credit
  15. I would do the Pride, we are going in March. The Mardi Gras is beautiful but we were overwhelmed by the size.
  16. My birthday is in March. We have a free cruise less gratuities, taxes, port fees and insurance. We got off the Mardi Gras in April and we’re overwhelmed by the size. We live about an hour from Tampa and want to sail from there. We watched YouTube and liked the look of the Pride. 7 days from March 3-10. Outside cabin, we found a balcony not necessary. $1400 for the 2 of us with a $500 on board credit. Excited!
