While the Reserve Collection Restaurant does serve Mini-Suites currently, we don't know if they are making changes to the setup with the Sanctuary Collection changes in October e.g. a merge with the Signature Restaurant. When we were onboard last month, breakfast was 7 to 9:30am, dinner 5 to 9pm but they only served lunch on sea days 11:30 to 1pm. From discussions on CanadianBurgers live from thread (lots of pics of Reserve menus), Reserve menus had mostly the same dishes as the MDR but with upgraded ingredients. So better quality shellfish and steak. The port breakfast menu was much more extensive than the MDR however. The Reserve and Signature restaurants share their own kitchen.

Must admit I never saw the special cakes in International Cafe when were on Sun Princess last month. And the Desserts menu didn't mention the extra bottles of alcohol (usually an extra $2 if not on package) from other ships. There is also Soft Serve ice cream and Granitas on the Sun. We didn't try Gelato on the package as we weren't sure if it was included.

We did this way back in 2017 for the Majestic Princess preview cruise after she left the shipyard. We flew into Venice, had to find the bus that takes you to Venice Mestre from the airport and then picked up the direct train to Trieste. As we got closer it stopped at Monfalcone which upped our excitement levels! Once we arrived in Trieste we sought out the local bus which took us to a stop right in front of the terminal buildings - we were staying at the hotel opposite so this worked well.

Thought it would have been something they aligned with the October change to Sanctuary Class (we are boarding again in September before the change and will hope to also enjoy the suite life!)

Yes, last month we got 3 selections from that night's MDR menu day appearing on the Deck 8 menu (it was day 2) so I reckon they have different Americana menus for each day to match with the MDR offerings.

When we were on board in April, Trivia was mostly held in Princess Live!. There was an early morning Brain Teaser challenge held in O'Malleys at 9:15 and all the big game shows like Liars Club and Marriage Match were held in the Piazza

Can you see Reserve Collection dining listed as a benefit when you try to book a Cabana Deck Mini Suite? The Princess website states that Sanctuary Collection is replacing Signature Collection and Reserve Collection.

With the new Sanctuary Collection announcement, the old Reserve Collection Mini-Suites (category M1/M2) will now become Sanctuary Mini-Suites and get the additional benefit of access to the Sanctuary. The old Reserve Collection Cabana Mini-Suites (category C1/C2) on deck 9 will now become Cabana Deck Mini Suites but will lose the benefit of access to a private restaurant (unless already booked prior to April 23rd where this will still be honoured). It's a reduced Lara juice menu. We saw it displayed at Coffee and Cones on Deck 17 and the Promenade Bar on deck 9.

I posted a moan about the pricing on the the Star Princess Delayed thread too. Previously there was a clear gap between Signature Suite and the Penthouse (now Vista) pricing but now very little gap and way too much money! This is what I see on the UK site:

Strange pricing for the Star Princess Transatlantic Sanctuary Suite categories - very little difference between the S9 Signature Suite and S4 Vista (formerly Penthouse) Suite. Both over £7k pp! Means the S9 is totally out of reach for us - I have a milestone birthday during this one too so very disappointing.

There is no smoking or cigar lounge on Sun Princess. Only the designated Smoking areas - Wake View Terrace, Deck 8 Aft Starboard Side Sun Bar, Deck 18 Forward Starboard Side Casino, Deck 8 Forward - only during opening hours while actively playing
