We’ve done Panorama multiple times and really enjoy it. Pre-cruise we stayed at the Hyatt in Long Beach. It can be a little pricey but it’s a great location with a ton of restaurants within walking distance. And just a quick uber to port for your cruise.
As others said, obstructed when sitting down. We hated them. Not necessarily because of the view but because it was a super long walk to the front cabins. Never again for us.
Sailed in fall of ‘21 and June of ‘22. June was a little earlier but both were way later than typical carnival cruises. I wouldn’t even consider flights before noon and we will normally push it to catch 9-10am flights.
With all the additional “included” restaurants, we only had one dinner in the MDR. Of the five post RE-start cruises we’ve been on, Mardi Gras was by far the best food experience.
P&D allowed to drop off carry on bags before 1:30 but no allowed to hang out in rooms until after 1:30. Keys may or may not be ready for you when you drop off bags.
They usually do this instead of taking your card back to the POS to scan. Usually they only scan when sitting right at bar by POS machine. Dining room, show rooms, casino, they always right your number down.
Did they maybe swap out the mushrooms for chili because of that thunderstruck burger thing? I remember having mushrooms post restart a few times and then last month they were gone. Again, could be supply issues vs cutbacks too.
I did notice no mushrooms on our horizon cruise last month. In place of the mushrooms on the toppings bar was chili which I don’t recall seeing in the past, but maybe as I don’t get it. I thought the bacon burger was still available. As many have reported, the fries have been different. It seems like a supply issue as I’ve seen different fries on a few of the cruises since restart.
You have to set a PIN in the casino and enter your birthdate. So in this case, they’d have to know your birthday. And if they actually got that far they’d have to go to cashier to cash out and your picture would be on their screen.
Isn’t keeping an eye on the bottom line a good thing? If it’s more efficient and saves money and doesn’t drive business away, then do it. I would argue that the small time savings improves my experience.
Not sure how it preserves FTTF. Plenty of people admit on here they still drop off bags early even if they aren’t platinum or Diamond.
