  1. Renee…sorry that you got Covid…maybe you’ll need some Island time to fully recover. 🏝️🌴😎
  2. The EZair webpage shows you’re correct if booked with Flexible airfare: Flexibility to Change Flights – Cancel flexible airfare up to 45 days prior to departure with no fees. Plus, book flights now with no amount due until cruise final payment. https://www.princess.com/learn/faq_answer/pre_cruise/travel_transportation_faq/popup/PC_PC_ezair.html For our Spring 2025 circumnavigation of Australia, instead of flying round-trip from LAX, will fly to Brisbane & then to Auckland at the end of our Australia cruise to sail Royal Princess 22 days back to LA…even better than flying premium. ☺️
  3. Look at the deck plans for the Emerald deck midship balcony cabins to find ones with larger balconies all with no obstructions looking out & only when looking down onto Promenade deck. This is E409 on Discovery Princess:
  4. Thanks for sharing all of the information & menus to have a clearer idea about these changes. They don’t state how orders placed from the cabin TV will be managed…do you think it will it be the same as from the app & incur the $14.99/pp/cruise fee.
  5. Wasn’t it possible to previously order it on the app? Guess it’d cost me $14.99 per cruise to do it on the app or TV? Where is the cost savings for Princess by requiring using a card instead of simply on the app? Another example of a not well thought out change by Princess.
  6. The first 2 passengers in a cabin will need to purchase the package which was stated during Thursday’s webinar.
  7. That was posted on this thread earlier today & based on these statements would agree with your analysis.
  8. While this explains ordering on app, it likely will be the same on the TV when paying the $14.99 OceanNow delivery fee good for the entire cruise.
  9. This was posted earlier with a 7/24/23 date…it shows $14.99 for a 3 course meal. EDIT: azbirdmom was faster than me. ☺️ It shows $5 à la carte appetizers, $3 à la carte desserts and $12 à la carte pizzas. Gigis Pizzeria by Alfredo_EX-XP_2023-7-24(1).pdf
  10. Yes…$5 per order and also $14.99 to use the app to order drinks & food and $14.99 for a 3 course Alfredo’s Pizzeria meal or à la cart pricing…all of these are for Standard fares.
  11. Watching a YouTube travel video she said they had a Winemakers Luncheon for $70/pp. on Island Princess which was promoted as being like the Chef’s Table.
  12. Based on a webinar slide the $14.99 OceanNow fee is only for delivery & not to use other app functions. OceanNow Princess Standard: Princess Standard guests can enjoy OceanNow delivery for a nominal one-time $14.99 access fee per guest, which will be applied to their first order.
  13. Thanks…my mistake & that was the prices for the Plus & Premier drink packages shown in my Cruise Personalizer…sorry. Why would anyone buy the more expensive drink package versions & not the cheaper complete package which includes the drink package…what am I missing?
  14. And with Dine My Way making having the same waitstaff nightly difficult, they likely get fewer extra cash tips at end of a cruise with DMY.
  15. In all of the slides & verbally Carmen & Marsha repeatedly said Plus was $60 and Premier was $80 without disclosing that an 18% tip would be added…$76.69 and $100.29…so much for truth in advertising. 🙄
  16. Currently both of my SOBC are combined with my MOBC for Spring 2024 ($100) and 2025 ($250) cruises…both booked & SOBC issued long before 6/29. A week before the change was implemented we booked another Spring 2025 ($250) cruise & had our TA show my wife (no MOBC) as the first name to have our jointly owned CCL shares SOBC issued to her. In over 10 years of jointly owning CCL shares it’s always been issue to me despite applying in her name because I am the first name on the booking . Although I am not confidant that onboard we’ll get both of them and waiting to hear about experiences for cruises sailing after 9/12/23.
  17. For our March 2025 Oz 28 day circumnavigation cruise the first day it was available to elite level Captain’s Circle passengers was on 4/4/23 (next day for everyone else). If that trend continues, you could expect to see the Spring 2026 Australia cruise itineraries in Spring 2024. Like all of these very popular twice yearly (March & October) circumnavigation cruises they sellout quickly.
  18. Plus Beverage Package Includes: Cocktails, wine by the glass, beer, specialty coffees fountain sodas, bottled water, fresh juices and healthy smoothies (juice bar), new juice bar, mocktails and crafted cocktails by Mixologist Rob Floyd 50 spirits, 25 wines by the glass, 25 beers, all specialty coffees & non- alcoholic drinks 25% discount on wine bottles (including rare vintages) 25% discount on large bottles of water and cans of soda https://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/food-and-dining/beverages/
  19. Recent reports are that for most SOBC it’s issued within hours or within a couple of days…hope you have an easy application. I have been able to get multiple SOBCs with one request.
  20. Since Princess began requiring advance payment several years ago they have waived the 90 day limit. I have received the SOBC as soon as booking a cruise over 2 years in advance. I have received MOBC and my wife SOBC.
  21. Onboard have seen canned soda & beer offers where if you buy the required amount (4-5 cans?) it’s like getting one for free.
