  1. Thanks for the help. Jelayne, that seems simpler than the indentation thing. Glad to know the every other cabin thing works on BY as well as on S class. I think I have found my substitution for the cancelled RF back to back we have planned for April and May. Now to find substitute for Sept. Oct. We have no notification yet, but will be sending cabin preferences to TA shortly.
  2. How do I tell which cabins have bed by bath vs. bed by balcony on Beyond please. I have seen some posts that have addressed this in the past, but since I was not interested in E class ships, I didn't pay a lot of attention. Now, we are going to be moved to Beyond from RF and I would like to retain my C1 bed by bath cabin. Also am now looking for b2b with same cabin. That may be a challenge in itself.
  3. Happy hour is in most bars on the ship. No lounge like RCI. Not included in MDR's. As I said above, smart casual wear is always OK.
  4. I don't believe there are tablecloths in Tuscan Grill specialty restaurant anymore on Equinox or any of her sister ships. The demographic on Equinox is more mature and laid back than you find on Carnival or RCI. No water slides, etc. I don't know about water for Elite. There is an complimentary Elite breakfast with pastries, fruit, smoothies, meat and cheese, bloody marys, belinis and mimosas every morning separate from the MDR and buffet.I believe Elites get one free bag of laundry per cruise. Shows will not be as varied as RCI. There will be different types of music in different venues every evening. Wonderful crew and fantastically clean ship. No smoking anywhere inside. Lovely coffee bar called Cafe Al Bacio on deck 5. A great Japanese restaurant for small a la carte fees, across from Al Bacio. And an actual lawn up on aft deck 14 with a lovely Sunset bar. Pizza in the buffet is usually very good. And real ice cream in several flavors is free each day in the buffet, Oceanview Cafe. You don't have to dress up for Chic Night if you don't wish to. Many don't. Smart casual is always good on Celebrity.
  5. Whoops! I meant on a port day, when Luminae is not open for lunch. Thanks for the feedback.
  6. Anyone have experience with ordering this? Is it really the same as in Luminae? How long did it take to get your order? Thinking of trying this on a sea day next cruise on EQ.
  7. We have had to cancel for personal reasons twice and got the 90% back to the credit card. No FCC involved. That was in 2015 and 2019.
  8. How long is the taxi ride from this Hampton Inn from the airport and to Port Everglades, please? And how was your stay there? We enjoyed the Hampton Inn downtown Miami prior to a couple of cruises pre--covid.
  9. "They Call the Wind Mariah" from the B-way musical "Paint Your Wagon" and the movie with a sadly mis-cast Lee Marvin. The Troggs! I can't believe some of you even remember the name!
  10. On another thread someone posted the new CEO's old RCI e-mail as lhodges@rccl.com. I wouldn't expect much from the engagement center.
  11. I can hum it, "feel it in my fingers, etc.", but darn, I can't name the group!!
  12. Do suite pax still get free drinks in the SL? If not, what's the point? Get to schmooz with other suite dwellers? How about drinks with meals in CK?
  13. Is there a dedicated dining room for suites only? Does Club Orange provide one?
  14. Royal casinos tend to be the "smoke hole" when the casinos are not even open for gambling. And on Freedom class ships the smoke rolls out from each end to contaminate the Schooner Bar and Boleros. At least that was true last time I sailed in May, 2018. And thanks all for the info.
  15. Am correct that those non-smoking casino ships on HAL are their older ships?
  16. Do any other cruise lines offer no smoking in any interior venue including the casino?
  17. Do Pinnacles still get 3 bottles of wine of their choice in cabin? Do P's still get breakfast in a specialty restaurant? I understand that P's no longer get to access the Suite lounge, except on a limited basis, depending on how many P's are on board. And even so have pay for drinks with drink vouchers. Meal with officer?
  18. Very limited books in library on S class, many in languages other than English. I have never seen what I would consider a children's book in any of the libraries.
  19. Celebrity and RCI both dock at Crown Bay as RCI signed a 10 year contract with them about 2016.
  20. Are all YC cabins suites, or can you book a balcony cabin and also be in the YC, please?
  21. Any info as to specific areas for smoking? I assume near the pool and in the casino. How about inside bars? Smoking allowed at any of those?
  22. What is the smoking vs. non-smoking policy on MSC, please? Any differences in the Yacht Club?
  23. Post #55 is on board now and confirms no lobster or filet on any night menu, and salmon and shrimp cocktail only every other night. This is shameful. Thank goodness we are in a suite for our next two cruises; after that we may try MSC yatch club or Oceania. Or why not a luxury line for the cost of suites on X?
  24. This is completely unacceptable. Sounds like you may as well cruise RCI, which we did for years before discovering Celebrity, which was, a few years ago, so much classier. Just drop these from the MDR if necessary. That is better than this cheapo move. I hope everyone on any cruise that includes this on the menu goes to the Hotel Director to express their dissatisfaction. Or as Mick would say, "I can't get no..."
