  1. Love the smoke free casinos on Celebrity. As RCI PInnacle, we have never gone back to RCI since our very first Celebrity cruise Dec, 2017. It is a more elegant and laid back experience with much better food and service. I love the live orchids in the womens' public restrooms. Just so elegant. And the free ice cream in the buffet every day is delicious. You really don't have to dress up for chic night if you don't wish to. Also I saw a mention of sport coats for Chic nights. I maybe have seen 5 or 6 sport coats total in the last 4 cruises on Equinox.
  2. You are KILLING me with the pistachio roll and the peach french toast! Will be on EQ in 12 days and will be having both of those myself, but hopefully not on the same day.
  3. Your cabin location is just fine. You only see the life boats while standing at the rail on the balcony, and they obscure very little of your view. The suite cabins on deck 12 also see life boars while at the rail of their balconies.
  4. The concierge is able to do some minor things, but be aware, he/she is available to all classes of cabins below suites. I have had the concierge print boarding passes. That was my first X cruise. Never booked Concierge since as there was no real value to it for us.
  5. That sounds realistic, Jeremiah. I had no idea there was bubbly at CaB, not that I would bother to get it. But nice to know it is still available for those who looked forward to it.
  6. I believe that there is free coffee from about 8 AM on deck 7 behind the mid ship elevators as well of course 24 hrs at the buffet, Ocean View Cafe. There is also free coffee at Spa Cafe from about 7:30 AM to around 2 PM.
  7. Wait! Zeniths get free alcoholic drinks?
  8. There is plenty of entertainment on Equinox. There are shows in the theater every night at 7 and 9. Live music is playing at several different venues, and the music styles are varied. I believe every night there was the "house" band playing in the main foyer with lots of dancing going on. There will be at least one Full Moon Party up on the pool deck one night lateish. There will be at least one Silent Disco night. The barttenders at the Martini Bar put on a good show each night. And theres always the casino. There is usually a game show in front of Celebrity Central most nights as well. And during the day there are often speakers on various subjects in either Celebrity Central or the theater.THere are also art auctions for those so inclined. Various presentations and trivia in various venues daily.
  9. A few cruises ago, we were told at suite check in, while in the lounge, that we owed $1850 for our cruises. We had paid in full, of course, I had nothing with me to show paid in full, But the personnel huddled for a while and came back to us with we actually only owed $150. So we just said take it out of OBC and were good go. Two days later, GS informed us that our $150 OBC had been restored as we owed nothing. Now I take something that shows "Paid in Full".
  10. Jelayne Just curious what 10 night you are on this month. We are on Equinox April 24. If you are also, I'd love to meet you as your posts are always helpful.
  11. It will be interesting to see when we get on board. We are on that same cruise.
  12. I also would never take a Caribbean cruise on any ship during March or the first couple of weeks in April. Can you say "Spring Break"? I agree don't be thinking RCI. We are Pinnacle on RCI and after just our first Celebrity cruise in Dec. 2017, we have never gone back to RCI.
  13. You can do it at check in. Takes maybe a minute.
  14. No ordering of mailed tags anymore. If you can't get them to print, then tags at the pier will have to do.
  15. We used to tell our stewards no need to vacuum in the evening. Now we are signed up for Go Green.
  16. Charla, I so enjoy your cruise live posts. I just received my map dress in the mail yesterday. Thanks for showing us what that looks like! I wonder how many women have bought one since you first posted a pic.
  17. Very easy to get a cork screw from your room steward on board.
  18. Interesting, George. Decoy here is about $28 a bottle. We may try for the duckhorn merlot this time in a couple of weeks.
  19. We also ask our butler to swap our sparkling wine for a Decoy cab. Never been charged or denied. And we are just in Sky suites. That sparkling wine is awful. However, if we couldn't get it changed for no fee, we'd just leave the sparkling and go get a drink elsewhere!
  20. We also prefer Hyatt Place on 10th and have stayed in Renaissance on 17th also. These are both very nice hotels. Free breakfast at Hyatt Place. Nothing free at Renaissance.
  21. I have had e-mails a few times when in Sky Suites. No calls.
  22. No list for us tho' we ask little. I do request either a cheese plate (no soda crackers!) .or a shrimp cocktail every evening. Ice twice a day. Laundry I just leave the bag on the bed. Occasionally ask for our free pressing (Elite +). Other requests are for room steward...flat pillows, light weight robes and additional hangers.
  23. There are loungers forward on deck 12 in front of the gym area. Simply walk thru' the gym, open the front door, and there you are with a sun bathing area.
  24. We took our usual taxi to the port from FLL in Jan. and it cost the usual $15-20 as it has for the past few years. Much faster and cheaper than X transfer. And I can't stress enough that you should change your flight to the day before.
