Lunch is pretty much just burgers. Not interested in paying a bunch for a burger either.

We know Antony pretty well. Aren't all the Equinox staff in Luminae wonderful? We are so spoiled having cruised with them about 5 times now. Have two more Retreat cruises booked on EQ through Feb. That will most likely be out last Retreat for a while. We do not get off the ship due to our failing energy and slowing mobility, so we only do Caribbean now and RF will be the ship there after EQ leaves. Many more suites on RF, so we are going to avoid paying a bundle only to see Luminae probably more crowded and noisy than on EQ. We used to eat in the buffet and liked it before Retreat. So can do it again!

Equinox was partially "revolutionized" in 2019. She still looks great to us and just off in May. She does still have the older color scheme...which I prefer over the grey and off white look.

There willl be spa personnel to make spa appointments in the Retreat Lounge on boarding day. Much quicker than going up to the spa. Also if you wish to book another cruise while on board, or just want to ask questions of the Future Cruise staff, the Retreat concierge will make an appointment for you to meet with them in the lounge. No waiting at the Future Cruise desk. We ask our butler to bring some sort of snack after dinner. Used to ask for fruit and cheese plate, now usually ask for shrimp cocktail. We have that with our last wine of the evening.

Above the Sky lounge is the basketball court and restrooms. Maybe a restroom leak there? Sounds strange.

It may not be on Chic night, but definitly there is filet in Luminae. You can get a filet any night if you ask 24 hrs. in advance.

I also have seen cigars for sale at Sunset Bar and liquor store.

Please do NOT fly to the port on same day as embarkation. Too many things can go wrong and you can miss your ship.

On board booking gives you OBC for the cruise you are booking; not the cruise you are on. There is a reduced deposit for categories below suites.

Thanks. Have looked at Sky Reef on line. Probably will suggest that to my son and DIL. I know there is little sand on the west side. Been to Coz many times over 40 years. Haven't been off the ship on Coz in several years, however. My concern for Playa Azul was it used to be very hit and miss for a taxi back to the ship. Sometimes a long wait to flag one down.

How far is it from the end of the tram line to the public beach, please? Walkable I hope.

It seems that all the beaches are "Clubs" and have cover charges. The only one I know at no entry fee is Playa Azul and I would prefer not to go so far from International pier. Anything else available for no charge currently?

Do some of the ships still have Zacapa at WCB? Equinox still had it in April. If not, what are they using instead ?

Yes, you can change cabins within the same category at no charge. I would move.

IMO Luminae is MUCH better than Coastal Kitchen on RCI. We are Pinnacle on RCI and have not been back since our first X cruise Dec. 2017. It's a whole new ballgame to us. Much more sedate, almost no children, older people; never have I seen an obvious drunk on X, although I'm sure such exists. I would say the clientele is more upscale overall than RCI. I particularly enjoy the various music offered in several different venues all over the ship in the evenings.
