  1. People in suites still have to select an arrival (not boarding) time, but can show up anytime.
  2. I have Samsung Smart tags that I got on Amazon. About $50 for 2 of them, as I recall. I have used them on cruises and have been happy with them.
  3. Try to find a cabin that is between two lifeboats. I was in cabin 5151 on the Pride (sister ship) and there was some view down to the water. The cabin was fine and yes, I could see out. I would rather have a regular balcony though, if the difference in cost wasn’t too much.
  4. Very often the military rate is early saver.
  5. The offers for military are few and far between, but it’s worth checking. If there is an offer, it may or may not include OBC.
  6. There’s no time limit. You can buy the stock and apply for the OBC right away using the trade confirmation as your proof of ownership. Your son will be fine. There is only one OBC allowed per cabin, so either you or your husband would claim it, but not both.
  7. Thank you so much for another awesome review! Looking forward to your next one. Enjoy your upcoming cruise.
  8. Has this been officially announced by Carnival yet? It seems like we’re hearing it from cruisers rather than Carnival.
  9. I have sent in my requests many times prior to final payment and they have never been denied.
  10. DH takes insulin with him, and we have found that the availability of medi-coolers varies a lot. More often than not when we go to Guest Services as soon as we’re on the ship, they say they don’t have any or they’re already taken by other people. An alternative is having the medical center store the insulin, which worked for DH. He went down there whenever he needed to and got his insulin.
  11. Great pictures—you’re well on your way to a great cruise. I always enjoy your reviews.
  12. This picture came up just fine. The other ones haven’t though.
  13. I look forward to reading your review. For some reason your pictures didn’t come through. I’m using my iPad, which I have used to read your prior reviews, so not sure why the pix aren’t showing.
  14. I’ll be on January 7th and 14th. I’m glad to hear so many good things about the Panorama.
  15. The first time I requested shareholder OBC I used the trade confirmation and that worked fine.
  16. Thank you for taking the time to do this review. I’ll be on Panorama B2B in January and I appreciate your insights.
  17. Have you had to change rooms on each leg? Glad you got another comfy bed on this last leg.
  18. I sailed with a friend recently who had a rented scooter. In the dining room, she rode the scooter to our table and the dining room staff took the scooter to a nearby area for storage and brought it back after the meal. In the theater, she rode it in and sat in one of the designated wheelchair spaces in the theater. I have never seen a designated parking area for scooters. She had an accessible stateroom so her scooter fit into her room. Scooters are not allowed to be parked in the hallways, so try to get an accessible room when you book.
  19. Whenever I have had B2B cruises they were considered in total, so two 7 day cruises got me $250. I just got approval 3 days ago for January B2B and I sent in the request on 9/9, so it took 4 weeks.
  20. Carnival doesn’t give military OBC in the US. Occasionally there are special rates for military, but not often at all. Those rates may include OBC, but other than that, no OBC offered.
  21. My most recent request took 4 weeks. I use email to make the request. I have tried faxing in the past but about half the time the faxes weren’t received and I wasn’t aware of that. When email is used, there is an immediate email response to let you know your request has been received.
  22. When I was on the Splendor to Alaska in August the youngest diamond member was 10 years old!
  23. It up now. I was just able to log in.
