  1. All classes of cabins on Celebrity have bath robes. If you go to their web site you can browse by category, here is an example for inside cabin. https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/staterooms/inside-stateroom
  2. @GeorgiaPeach51 thanks for the list. Many of my favorites are there, and I look forward to checking out others from the list. A couple of suggestions. Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett murder mystery series, by CJ Box. Also Bruno Chief of Police series by Martin Walker (interesting plots, small town France, lots of descriptions of food and drink, somewhat like the Louise Penny series.)
  3. The May 15, 2024 Vancouver / Alaska round trip cruise on the Explorer shows that it is up to CA $750 per person if you arrange your own flights and transfers.
  4. Back in 2017 we made 2 deposits for a B2B, and we had the same cabin for both legs. It would be much easier for you if you are able to get the same cabin so that you do not have to move. I understand the crew will make the move as easy a process as possible, but even easier if you can stay put. The price you might see online will be adjusted because both cruises include airfare. I am not sure about any other B2B discount. We have considered the same type of trip since we can easily drive to Vancouver. Some day ....
  5. Reservations are not required for Compass Rose, just show up when you are ready to dine. You will only be able to prebook the specialty restaurants, CR will not even be there as as an option.
  6. You will have better luck connecting with people through your roll call. Check out https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2513-celebrity-beyond-roll-calls/
  7. It differs by class of ship. Refer to the deck plans on the Celebrity website and you can see exactly which decks have Aqua class from the legend.

  9. There has been discussion in the Regent board about Luggage Forward, you may find some helpful info there. I found this website with an online search https://www.luggageforward.com/cruise-luggage-shipping/ Note there was a discussion about prohibited items which seems to include some personal care products, something to be aware of if you can't ship it and can't take it as carry-on.
  10. We stayed at EXchange Hotel Vancouver in June, fairly new, not too far from Canada Place.
  11. Wow, they do not give them away. When we were on the Eclipse this past June we booked a cruise for next year on the Flora. The person we dealt with sent a gift pack to our room for the booking (that was a first, in all the times we have booked on board). One of the things we received was this bowl, I assumed it was made onboard. I am glad we were driving home from the port as the thing is very heavy!
  12. I take it the first option should read less than CA$100? 🍷
  13. Benefits are the same across ships. Unlimited drinks from most bars, between 5 & 7 PM, usually excludes embarkation day. Refer to https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/updated-captains-club-brochure-v6.pdf
  14. I am pretty sure 1233 will have the bigger balcony. We were in 1618 on the Eclipse this past June. These photos show how deep part of the the balconies are for the angled Celebrity suites on the hump. I believe the balconies for the other Celebrity suites are not very deep. (Celebrity suite 1620 is the one on the other side of the divider where the tables and chairs are.)
  15. Blu is only open for breakfast and dinner, I suspect it is not possible to get food from there during the day. If I recall, you cannot generally even order room service from Blu?
  16. We were on Uniworld that had an overnight stay, if I recall correctly it was Bordeaux, at least it was somewhere on the Bordeaux river cruise. There was a gate at the pier that was locked at some point during the evening. It was unlocked using a keypad and the code for it was published in the daily we received.
  17. We were in a Celebrity Suite on the Eclipse to Alaska in June. We requested a coffee maker, and as I expected, we did not get one. Just thought it would be worth a try to ask. They did bring us a kettle, which we did not use since we are not into instant coffee.
  18. I don't think I have ever heard of this, the logistics of embarking and then going on the excursion would be interesting. Where are you seeing it? I wonder if it is an error somewhere, possibly it is an excursion offered when there is an overnight in Honolulu, and/or possibly to B2B guests? Do let us know if you find out more.
  19. There may be hope, there was a story on our local news tonight that the Canadian government is contemplating ditching the app. 🤞🤞🤞
  20. Not quite so. If you are entering Canada to cruise, for example by vehicle or flight, you must complete ArriveCan within 72 hours before you travel. Then you must complete it again, within 72 hours of embarkation.
  21. Looks like yes. Refer to https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/cruise
  22. Something to consider, there are TAs that require final payment before the cruise line requires it, some up to one month before.
  23. OMG, we had that on night 7 on the Eclipse in June. I think it was the best thing we had all week. If they had served it earlier in the cruise I would have requested it every other day.
  24. Late to the game, appreciate the list, I have read quite a few of them and always looking for more. My suggestion in Joe Pickett series by C J Box, Joe a game warden and gets involved in murders etc.
