  1. Book excursions online pre-cruise. Pay with OBC They will not deduct excursion until you are on the ship and cut tickets. After you go on the excursion, 10% OBC will show up on your account as Non-refundable OBC. "Zac" sent me a non-cookie cutter email. Waiting for him to respond to my latest email. Hi. xxx - unfortunately there have been a ton of emails back and forth that have crossed paths and led to a lot of confusion on both sides. So I'm resetting to make sure we have got everything sorted out You submitted a claim for reservation xxx departing xxx This has been approved Are there any other claims you need to submit?   2. Most Hawaii houses do not have heaters. Pull out the sweatshirts and blankets. In CA...my comfort zone is 74 to 78 winter or summer.
  3. Took the leap of faith. New app did migrate my information from the old app, but definitely not working well. Wants to charge me for shipping Medallion ($10). Is that default and I have to get reimbursed on the ship? Will it go away? If I hit place order, will the charge disappear? Dining reservations only available for 2 weeks out of cruise. Can't do Crown Grill on first night. Can't see excursions purchased or even choose additional ones. Can't see any other future cruises. I'm sorry, I did not read all the previous pages. Only downloaded to ipad not phone. Can't see port information.
  4. Boarding begins at the same time as other ports, begins between 11 and noon. You may leave after checking in and muster station procedures. The jet way will be open from the night before until you sail away (45 hours). There will be waves of passengers as flights, buses, trains arrive. As far as I can remember (last summer), same door for incoming/outgoing. There should be a shuttle that takes you to a "bridge" that leads into the bottom of old town.

  6. I necklace would be cumbersome getting on and off the ship since it has to be tapped. I would opt for the bracelet first. There are many air tag holders that will work with the medallion. I have one I use with my watch band.
  7. I refared for a cruise this summer (before final payment). Kept EZ Air fare. TA sent new invoice with new fare and same EZ Air.
  8. I beg to differ. Our "winters" can be cold (low 70s) in the morning. A collapsible umbrella may be useful. We just had flood warnings for a Kona Low (south storm) for all the islands. We have beautiful rainbows (anuenue) because of morning showers. Umbrella, light rain jacket, sun hat, suntan lotion, a wrap for the ship, leggings or pedal pushers (are better than jeans), To top it of...all restaurants and stores are very air conditioned (cold). I even saw/felt hail at the Volcano National Park in March.
  9. Already "spent" the OBC on excursions. lol. Still showing up until I actually take the excursion...with 10% back in OBC for elite.
  10. You need to give Victoria a break. She is on vacation and mom thinks she is doing her homework in the library. Don’t give her an excuse….another passenger “ate” my homework.
  11. Haven’t been on Royal class ships. Grand/Gem ships have: a full promenade sofas outside Explorer’s lounge Shywalker A lovely “lobby/living room” in the middle of deck 6 (near the Crown Gill, excursion desk, travel consultant office) on the Caribbean.

  15. @philv Thank you for the details. Unfortunately, I am not as trusting as you. I filed for Shareholder OBC by attaching redacted statement to app. Huge learning curve for me.
  16. Step 7: Tried to login to Princess. That’s a whole other issue. Some of the time I can using Safari. If that doesn’t work, then Chrome. Sometimes neither. User/provider error? Agent I spoke to told me it was them/Princess. Lots of technical difficulty issues for a week now. Within minutes, OBC was on my payment page. I really had to work hard for this OBC.

Finally found page to click on redeem for Princess to fill in all the required information (name/date/voyage) 5:37 pm OBC Benefit Submission Acknowledgement Congratulations! We will be in touch with you in the next five (5) business days to either: Confirm that the credit has been applied to your cruise booking by Princess; or Request for more information regarding your application.   18. Step 3: Frantically emailing hello@stockperks.com for help. Of course, they are on EST. Woke up this morning and nothing from them except canned responses that they will get back to me. Decided to try emailing same address this afternoon with cruise information AND attachment. Step 4: Wait and be patient. Not in my genes. Step 5: 5:18 pm Please send me the proof of ownership documentation and we'll get it updated. Then hopefully app is back in play and you can submit your claim. Thanks!   19. Step 2: √ Click Carnival to get started. Click Princess WHAT??? You want access to my stock portfolio? No way…click, click, click…get out. √ Another option pops up…manually submit redacted statement. Whew I created redacted statement. Screen shot, camera photo of my computer, air drop to device with app. Couldn’t get orientation to work that did not cut out Stock Name (CCL). Try and try again. Finally uploaded and get a timed out message multiple times. Ugh. Plan B. Maybe create a PDF and upload to documents. Tried again. Same thing with cut off. I didn’t care…sent. Worked or so I convinced myself. Received email. Thank you for submitting your proof of share ownership. Stockperks is reviewing your submission now and will respond within two (2) working days with next steps. Thank you for joining the Stockperks family!
  20. @nho9504 You requested this. Hang on for the ride. Do you mind to elaborate in more details on exactly how you received the 4 emails, and what did they ask for? I will be thrilled to document my “journey” if it saves just one person from experiencing the frustrations I endured. Disclaimers: I did not read through all the threads’s posts. As a teacher, I make a very poor student who doesn’t always follow directions. Computers/technology has always been a hit and miss for me (even as a science teacher/aka scientific method). Step 1: √ Download the app. √ Register, verify email address, skipped all other requested personal information. Password needs at least 8 characters with capital letter, symbol, and number.

I "think" it was the app that worked, although I also sent communications to hello@stockperks.com Received 4 emails from stockperk asking for this and that within 22 minutes of request, I had my OBC credited to my account. After transmission (again) it says it may take up to 5 days. It is already on my account. This was NOT fun, but worth the hefty OBC.
  22. Okay, I apologize, this time. In a span of 22 minutes and 4 emails from StockPerks (and 3 replies), my OBC was finally applied within minutes. So painful.
  23. I am/was a Princess loyalist. But having the website down/intermittent for a week (or at least for me Safari and Chrome) plus chat/phone wait times, is causing me to rethink my status with Princess. This StockPerk app is just as lousy. I can't imagine how many passengers they are losing to this bad business practice.
  24. You sound like a friendly person. I travel with friends, but am a solo being. I like to talk and find that most other passengers are willing to chatter with strangers. I have no doubt that you will be fine. Interestingly, I seem to run into the same people over and over again. Smile and be yourself. Enjoy family time and your time.
  25. I just refared an on deposit only booking under the 40% off promotion. Took my TA a couple of hours to get it straightened out. Final payment is still a long way off. Didn’t want to cancel and rebook because I might lose my stateroom. All done BEFORE final payment.
