  1. "strange, small diagonal balcony" That's what I found out by doing a search. So, unless I hear from someone who stayed in either of these who says the room really makes up for that, or something like that, I'll probably not book either of these.
  2. The two end Family Suites with Balcony (12030 and `12530) are always the last to sell out. They seem to have a different configuration than the other family suites according to the deck plan. This is specifically on the Dawn.
  3. Does Odyssey have a Coastal Kitchen? Can you have dinner there if in a Junior Suite? (easily)?
  4. This has to be a mistake. If it wasn't, you would not be the only one, and this board would be lighting up with posts on this topic.😵
  5. When does "Wave Season" start?
  6. I finally found a you tube of 9500, which is the only SF available that's not connecting, and the view of the balcony is of the crew pool (or hot tub). I seem to recall reading somewhere that that was a problem. So the you tube made up my mind. Thanks again to the two people (only) who took the time to help me.
  7. Thanks @RosieRoo. Good points about the forward facing suite. One thing I forgot to mention....I don't like getting my hair messed.😊
  8. Anyone else have any experience in the forward facing suites on Dawn? And about the "family" suite with balcony. Do a lot of families book them? There's just two of us and don't want to be surrounded by a lot of boisterous people.
  9. We were in a family suite many years ago when they first came out. We tried the one without the balcony. I didn't think I'd miss one, but I did. I've been looking for youtubes of the family balconies and the forward facing suites and I've found that NCL really likes to change their designation. The letters keep changing. Thanks for getting back to me.🙂
  10. What is your opinion of the Family Suite with Balcony (SB) on Dawn vs. Forward Facing Balcony Suite (SF). SN only has Deck 8 available or I would select that.
  11. We've been in the Haven area once. What I did like was the proximity to the Concierge area. Just out the door to ask them how much OBC do they see listed on my account. Right there for escort to the shows (although if you did that after dinner you'd be in that area anyway if you dined in the Haven restaurant). Close by for priority escort from the ship.
  12. We've been on three MSC YC cruises. Trust me, no one will turn down tips. We just handed tips, in envelopes, to the deserving individuals. They discretely put them in their pockets. No one made a big deal of it.
  13. Thanks. I remember being in suites several years ago on the smaller ships but I wondered if things had changed. Also, sorry for the double posts below. I hit submit twice, I guess. Didn't used to be able to do that.
  14. Since there is no Haven on Dawn, I was wondering what suite perks were available on Dawn. Is breakfast/lunch available in Cagney's or Moderno? How about escort off the ship? Butler/Concierge services? Anything I missed? Thanks💗

  16. NCL has raised the price for the Haven to $25 per person/per day (that's $50 a couple). I think that's a BIG increase considering the Butler and Concierge are not included in the daily service charge.
  17. BTW: How is Summit's condition. She was our first Celebrity ship.💘
  18. I'm really surprised and a bit concerned reading again about chair hogs on the Retreat Deck. It seems like, perhaps, the Lounge hosts are trying to resolve this. Looking forward to hearing more about Luminae. Does it feel crowded. Are tables close together?
