  1. So, the steak, macaroni dish and the salmon will no longer be available as standard, that would sucks. Paxs complain the present menu is limited, now if the above listed entrees are confirmed then it's even more limited.
  2. But they may charge her for a 2nd entree.😄 By the way, do you know how large is the upcharged whole lobster.
  3. Not impressed. Keep the old menu. They still have the pork chop and on 3 different ships it was dry and tough. Maybe it's the cut. French onion soup no longer on menu for every night?
  4. I loved going to my designated muster station with my life vest on. Gave you the real feel.
  5. What I did and you should do is armed with a cost detail by doing mock bookings between the interior and a balcony or suite. Then compare the difference and look at the details and that IMHO should be you determination if they are applying all of the discounts. By the way, I do the mock booking before booking any crusie either directly with Royal or a TA.
  6. Not sure if true. Tried to get a shareholder benefit for a comped upcoming cruise and was nicely & friendly denied.😆
  7. Did 4 of them and enjoyed them all. Glad we did this itinerary. When Royal replaced the Brilliance class with the Vision class, the balcony cabins pricing went thru the roof due to the lack of them.
  8. If she's a Tiffany heiress what the hell is she plying Norwegian Cruise ship.
  9. Maybe they can re-jiggle the Anthem's 9 niter to the Caribbean instead of NE/Canada. Possibly, have their luxury brand "Silverseas cruises fulfill the itinerary.
  10. I found many times that it is cheaper go 2. Snobs vs a quad
  11. Check your credit card(s) benefits for any interruptions and cancellations.
  12. I did in back in December on Mariner. I also, did a mock booking to determine what it would cost me to upgrade to a balcony cabin. With my D+ balcony and senior discount it cost me $0 + taxes & fees. I've got an 8 niter in February on the Anthem and the difference/cost me was $5 + T&F, however this is a combo of the D+ balcony and the solo supplement (DP340) discounts.
  13. Would we be considered illegals. Wonder if Maine is a Sanctuary State and prevented from being handed to ICE😊
  14. I've been there some 5-6 times on Anthem in mid-September and the place would be empty without the cruisers.
  15. Better yet, overnight in Boston and rid of Bar Harbor. Maybe Royal can bring one of their smaller ships out of mothball.
  16. I fully understand. I seem to remember that when Royal introduced the NR deposit, they offered OBCs.
  17. That's what I thought and thanks for the clarification.
  18. Yes and no, but the biggest advantage it seems to provide protection if you need to cancel therefore, receive the full deposit. Wow! I was under impression that once you opt for a refundable deposit that you are locked in. If one can change then it provides sufficient flexibility going forward whether to proceed or cancel and not incur any fees, if my understanding is correct. Is there a time period that you are not able to convert.
  19. I like to book on board as my only exposure is $100 pp cancelation fee. In addition, I get $100 or more in OBCs. I did not realize that one can switch from a refundable to a NR deposit.
