We always book an aft cabin, but make sure that it is a deck with the large balconies. Right now, we are in D728 on the Sky and loving it. You can always look at "images" online and check out photos or explore on YouTube. We have a huge balcony and partial coverage. The balconies above and below are half the depth of ours. The buffet is above us a few floors. We get lots of exercise.

We are currently on the Sky and have two footrests. We also had them last year on the Emerald and the Grand.

Princess transfers operate the day of airport arrival to the port and disembarkation day to the airport. No hotel has shuttles from LAX to San Pedro. It is too far. We took an Uber in 2018. Back then, it was about $30.00

Sorry, but this really does not sound like a great way to spend your time in England; at an airport hotel? I suggest you go to the British Isles board.

The Princess transfer is $59.00 per person. You might also look at Blackberry Cars for 4 people. We shared a car with them last year (6 people) from the port to LHR.

I really do not see how you would have roundtrip transfers for $128.00 (for two). Our transfers with Princess from Southampton to LHR are $118.00 We paid Quay West Cars 140.00 English Pounds for a transfer from LHR to our Southampton Hotel the day before the cruise. We took a cab from our Southampton hotel to the port for about 10.00 English pounds. I suggest you get details from your TA as this really does not make sense.

Bottom line... What would you pay for this meal at home? Did you enjoy it? I think the specialty venues are not packed, due to staffing issues. This meal at home would cost us at least $50.00 each and we would not have the same lovely view. P.S. When we ate in the Crown Grill, our steaks were tender, cooked correctly and very good.

Mother Nature is unpredictable. I suggest the same for Alaska... Pack layers. We did this itinerary in May 2022 and had mostly fantastic weather. It only rained in ONE port and that was the Orkney Islands. But our tour was still great! We were able to make all of the ports, including Guernsey.

Correct, Princess transfers are only on the day of. We used it a year ago May from Victoria Station. Just be prepared to arrive about 1:30 or 2:00 in the afternoon. Last Friday we used Quay West Cars from LHR to Southampton. Then we used a cab from our hotel to the ship and were onboard by 10:30 am

We are on the Sky right now. We booked two years ago with Princess Plus and the new terms are being honored. In fact, he staff in Vines are fabulous!!! This is a beautiful ship!

It is all about perspectives. There was once two little boys who were excited for Christmas morning. The parents took them outside and showed them a pile of manure. The parents told them to get to work and clean it up. The first little boy was quite upset about the task ahead. The second boy was terribly excited and started digging as fast as he could. When asked why he was diligently shoveling away, he answered, "Well, with all of this manure, there HAS to be a pony under it all!" Life happens.

It is about priorities. With so many opportunities, you can not be in more than one place at a time. It is a good thing that Princess offers variety.

I am afraid that I am going to leave ours at home this time.

It can very disappointing, however, the Captain of the Titanic made poor decisions too and/ or had to deal with a lack of effective communication.I would rather err on the side of safety.
