We have sailed in Star Class many times over the years but we no longer consider it to be "worth" the money. Having a Genie is a wonderful experience. If you can afford it, I say, go for it. Frankly, $10K for SC is not a bad deal these days.
That’s interesting. I thought I had read, some time ago, that there was nothing but interiors and a few OV remaining available for the full sailing. Maybe I’m misremembering.
One of my favorite perks is having breakfast in one of the specialty restaurants (usually Chops) on ships that do not have a CK. If they cut this one I will be more than a little unhappy.
I have scanned (but not read, thoroughly) the past 7 pages and didn't note any discussion regarding Regent 7 Seas. We have never sailed on Regent but are interested in the itins for both the 2025 and 2026 WC. Does anyone have any experience or opinion on Regent ?
I honestly would love to know how this happens. We have had it happen a couple of times. Once your email account gets messed up, things go from bad to worse. I quit trying to get our straightened out. I haven't gotten an email or snail mail offer from Royal in a very VERY long time. We just earn our offers onboard and don't worry about the monthlies.
It seems to me that the cost of the Regent World cruise(s) is very reasonable for all that is included. We’re in the early stages of research but both the 2025 and 2026 Itineraries are very exciting and I don’t think the price is outrageous. For us, the first hurdle was vaccinations and that is a non-issue with Regent so we’re moving forward. Not ready to book yet but giving it serious consideration.
