  1. And when reading Passages each evening don't just read the daily schedule. Also read all those things that look like ads because the will announce an event that may not be listed on the schedule.examples are included wine tasting (often called wines of the Old and New Worl) and the Sunday Brunch.
  2. I remember there were taxis lined up when we disembarked last August.
  3. UNLESS told otherwise by Destination Services. Last year on Navigator, they would not allow us in the theater before our ticket time, which made Stars Lounge a choke point. Only time I've seen this rule in 7 cruises, though.
  4. Unfortunately, no matter what time is chosen, it will be inconvenient for someone in our Global Society! Good job coming up with 5 p.m. EDT though, @RELS!
  5. One of the best excursions I've been on! When I realized you all were going to be there yesterday, I regretted not telling everyone to do this tour! He was our guide last year too. Very talented and patient with our many questions.
  6. One of my favorite excursions last year was the fjord cruise with waffles!
  7. Agree! That's why I was sad to see the complete George Inlet excursion now has an upcharge! Boo hoo. (Also on my May cruise it is at 7:00 a.m. Even I wouldn't eat crab at that hour!) You will have no problem getting the White Pass tickets.
  8. Yes, they do quite often offer a transfer and optional tour. When they give you the disembarkation form to fill out a few days before the end of the cruise, you will then see all the options. You can also inquire at destination services. Recent Japan cruisers can chime in and tell us what they did in Tokyo.
  9. Pre-cruise reservations is one per specialty restaurant per segment. Once onboard, other reservations can be made either through the dining reservations desk or your butler if you have one. Others have mentioned have good luck just stopping in at the restaurant day of to see if there are any openings. As far as making the online reservation, indicating you will share a table will usually open up more available times. No reservations for lunch.
  10. Did that cruise last summer. Loved it. Did your Roll Call set up the meet up? Informally or did Regent help?
  11. Daily ice cream is a MUST on a Regent cruise! Such a convenient stop by the Pool Bar after lunch.
  12. It is 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time now! So you don't have to stay up late. I've cruised Alaska with Regent pre-Covid twice (2012, 2017) and have a third booked in May. My favorite excursion both times is the George Inlet crab feast in Ketchikan. Lovely cruise with crab fishing info, and then a yummy all you can eat crab meal. Noticed that this is now a Regent Choice excursion, so they are charging $119 per person. Don't miss the White Pass railway.
  13. Just booked dining on the 14 night Med cruise on Splendor that is also sold as two 7 night segments. It let me book all 6 reservations (3 each week).
  14. I wear leggings every day! Usually bright colors with patterns. Coming up on cruise number 9.
  15. Small bottles. Room steward will replace as needed. If you move one to the shower they will replace it on the counter that day.
  16. Have you downloaded the Scenic app? I believe it has a more detailed itinerary.
  17. Also there is usually a little picture ad section called "Culinary Corner" where the brunch will appear.
  18. @VegasTW I don't see the Sunday Brunch at sea on the schedule, but did you have one? I found it wasn't listed on the daily schedule on the Splendor TA in April 2022, but was shown in one of the little side picture ads. So I always advise reading everything, even the "ads", because some info is only found there.
  19. @mj_holiday I've learned to take a picture including the name tag! Then add to list I keep on my phone for cruise surveys.
  20. Also have noticed that the TV Destination Services descriptions are not as thorough as they used to be. In 2018 on the Amazon, each tour was described in great detail with appropriate warning and film of difficult terrain. I haven't seen this on my cruises since then.
