  1. Many people believe that Ron Bushy is the greatest of all time.There have been so many great musicians that it is difficult to pick the number one in my opinion.
  2. 21st. Century Rock was at one time circulating all over the world.It was primarily a Heavy Metal magazine but the Publisher/Editor Bobby Tuzzeo was a member of a band that played original music as well as music of classic rock bands.They released two albums consisting of a lot of CSN music.Graham Nash saw them live in concert once and was very impressed by their rendition of Almost Cut My Hair.This was told to me personally by Bobby.Prior to developing the magazine he and I were co-workers .When the magazine was in circulation I had a free subscription .
  3. No but when I was in high school a kid recommended his father who was a dentist.He gave every child patient a package of bubble gum.I thought that was very interesting.
  4. Long Island has many historical areas and museums that many people are not familiar with even those living on the island .
  5. You might be interested in knowing that there are at least 25 lighthouses in Long Island but alas many are not open to the public.
  6. A friend of mine had a huge collection.I went with him to a coin show sponsored by Numismatic News.His collection was sold at auction in the UK and he netted $250,000.My late brother in law was also a collector and I went with him to many shows in NY and NJ.
  7. I have a modest coin collection.I can give you the name of a Coin dealer in Manhattan if you are interested .They are very reliable and have been around for at least 60 years.My late brother in law was a collector.His wife sold his collection and they offered her more than anyone else.
  8. I just returned from getting a haircut.My barber had a huge bowl of these.It was the first time he ever offered any kind of candy to his customers.
  9. In the 1950’s shoe stores in my then part of Brooklyn gave a silver dollar to every one who bought a pair of shoes.
  10. For everyone who lives with a cat I highly recommend a documentary currently on Netflix titled In The Mind of A Cat.
  11. I loved school.I did not miss one day of high school.I went to two colleges in NYC that nobody ever heard of unless they also went there.
  12. My wife and I were there many times over the years.The owner knew us well and always greeted us warmly when we we came to eat there.We have been going to the theater in Manhattan since 1965.I believe the first time we went to Le Rivage was about 1983 .
  13. We were on the Cunard Ambassador in 1973.The menus were huge .At the end of the cruise anyone who desired could have a menu to keep.I was the only one who wanted one and kept it for many years .Somehow it got lost when we moved from Brooklyn to LI in 2003.
  14. There is a restaurant in Manhattan (NY) that serves the best French Onion soup that I have ever eaten .Le Rivage on W.46 Street on Restaurant Row.
  15. I believe that it was on my last Anthem cruise in 2019.
