I have never been to Italy nor have I ever been to Europe .I have only eaten pizza in North America .I have lived in NY all my life and the best pizza I have eaten is in the state of NY.

There is a drummer based in NY .Many years ago she was a singer with a great voice ,People compared her to Grace Slick.She developed throat cancer .Even though she fully recovered she became such an accomplished drummer that it is all she does now.

The wife of my best friend from college was an actress,solely in off Broadway productions .She studied with Uta Hagen at the HB Studios in Manhattan.Every year the studios invites graduates to perform in productions as either actors or directors.Nearly all the people in the audience are alumni or faculty.My friends wife invited my wife and I to attend productions and eventually we became benefactors of the theater. I also had a friend who was a Director of Off Bway and regional theater and a friend who is an actor with the Heights Players in Brooklyn as well as appearing often on Law and Order. A cousin of mine was a playwright who had a production off Bway and I wrote two plays that were adapted from other media that opened in an off,off,off Bway theater. The first live play I ever saw was with a young actor in his first performance by the name of James Earl Jones.

That is great.Something similiar.In 1999 I reconnected with a friend from HS .We went to dinner with him and his wife and became very good friends.They had been Fla snowbirds about 10 years ago but three years ago sold their NY home and became full time residents of Boynton Beach.

In 1986 I wrote a poem that was published.A Canadian Actor/Singer recited the poem with Greensleeves in the background .

TSOTD is Abbey Road from the Beatles Collection.I treated myself to the shirt for my 60th.birthday and added it to my music collectibles collection planning to never wear it.However,we celebrated my 70th.birthday with a family cruise and I decided to wear it on a sea day.We were sitting in an outdoor lounge and a guy approached us wearing the same shirt.He was from the UK and also was wearing his shirt for the first time after having it many years.He and his wife sat down at the table and we had a great conversation about our love for music.We were both there with family but we met later in the cruise for another music discussion.

Great.My son in law is self employed and works from home.The nursing home is close to where he lives and he is able to devote much of his free time to the residents of the facility.He organizes trips and lectures among other activities. Re your screen name ,are you from NYC ?

When I was very young I traded an 1878 Silver Dollar to a friend for his Transistor radio.

I have attended concerts from 1962 to 2015 .Exactly how many I have no idea.I kept ticket stubs from many of the really great ones .People have asked me over the years who was the best musician or best singer and it is very difficult to pick just one.

I was a member for many years.Annual meetings were in Manhattan rather than the small town where their newspaper was published.I began collecting coins in 1955.Besides Denver and Philadelphia there are also private minting companies. Whenever we were in a cruise port city I would always visit a mint .My favorite is Bermuda.My wife bought me a silver Proof coin one time. I bought myself Proof coins in Canada and other places we vacationed in.

My father had a brother who lost his sight and was in a Home for the Blind in Westchester.His children (3 sons) had no interest in caring for their father.My father who lived In Brooklyn and did not drive went as often as possible to spend time with his brother.He took me with him many times.
