I'm sweating MSC right now. They've updated at least 30 countries' websites, but not US. No more Vax and testing only if non-vaxed. Hoping they update the US requirements because of my Med cruise at the end of October. I hate the hurdle of the test requirement 2 days before.
As a point of reference about the Greek exclusions, MSC has updated their protocols for many countries (not USA residents yet), but they are requiring the testing only for cruises EMBARKING in Greece, not port stops.
I've counted 26 countries' websites that have been updated for the new 10/1 protocols. There may be more as I haven't looked at all of them. No updates on the US site for European cruises which is really disturbing. I called and the rep said there were no changes to the US protocols. Hoping he's just clueless.
Does anyone have any better news?
They are making progress updating the various websites by country. I see Canada has been updated, along with many European countries' sites. Still no change for US pax in Med.
What MSC app? MSC for Me only allows you in the app if you have a booking on certain ships.
Can you post US requirements for Mediterranean cruises if they've updated for 10/1 changes?
Spain has the updates. I didn't check that this morning, so I'm not sure if that was there all day or not. Hopefully, it's just a matter of doing each country's websites.
Yes, we're US on MSC in Med in late October. Just today they've lifted testing for vaxed paxs for the Med from UK, and from Europe to US, so hoping it's just a short time before they do the same for US pax in Med.
I just checked my at-home tests. None of the Flowflex lots were on their list, but the BinaxNow was. You have to make sure your test is on the Canadian approved list.
