  1. For cruises originating from a Greece port (i.e. Piraeus and Crete) Look below that and see the requirements for vaxed pax for the different age groups in the left column. Testing required for adults. So that means if you're vaxed and only visiting Greece on a port call, no test. If you look at the unvaccinated requirements in the right hand column, there it makes a distinction and states requirement for all visits to Greece. This may not be what they are mandating, but that's what it says on their website.
  2. I didn't say anything about anything about a recovery statement.
  3. Just follow the link at the top of the MSCcruisesUSA home page. Then click on your destination. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/health-and-safety-measures
  4. Yes, I had found that also while researching the elusive Greek requirements. They say "embarking", not visiting. Also NCL's protocols require the testing for vaxed pax only for EMBARKATIONS in Greece.
  5. If that was back in May, who have you contacted and if MSC isn't adjusting the account, why don't you dispute it on your credit card?
  6. Agreed. I'm selfishly looking for changes to European protocols.
  7. Which ports does your cruise go to?
  8. My first indication that it had been assigned was a new Booking Confirmation in my email.
  9. Yes, like we said the cruise lines are all over the place with this. You're lucky.
  10. Depends on cruise line. For US passengers it's 2 day on MSC.
  11. We're on MSC at the end of October. They haven't relaxed any of their European protocols yet. I'd be happy with a 3 day testing window for vaxxed pax instead of 2.
  12. I'm interested in this also. I don't see why not, but would be nice to get confirmation from others.
  13. Disagree also after 34 cruises on mass market lines NCL, Carnival, Princess, MSC, etc. Have always had table for 2 for dinner in main dining room. Sometimes there are many 2 tops in a row, but there is separation. The key is visiting the maitre d right when you get on.
  14. On every cruise we've ever been on, we have gone to see the maitre d on embarkation day with our request for a table for 2, and it has always been granted. Sometimes it took until the second night, but it still happened.
  15. Today I received our cabin assignment for inside guarantee for end of October. Was assigned outside.
  16. NAAT is not an antigen test. It's a type of PCR. The results are generally rapid.
  17. We had been warned about the onboard account being charged by a foreign bank even on US sailings, so we made sure to use a card with no Foreign Transaction Fees. However, looking back at the statement, the charges were in USD and not Euros. So presumably they made the conversion and billed in the cardholders' default currency. I looked at other charges that were made in Euros from a previous trip, and it clearly shows the billing made in Euros and the conversion rate.
  18. Also, try to use a card that doesn't charge Foreign Transaction Fees because the onboard accounts are billed in Euros.
  19. NCL and HAL don't require testing for Greece stops unless you EMBARK in Greece. So if Greece is just a port stop, no testing required for vax pax. There is no consistency on how Greece is handled, and why is Greece still requiring testing anyway? When will MSC change their protocols?
  20. Last year the Labor Day sale was very good when combined with the Voyager Exclusives. There was good OBC and prices.
