Good morning. Prayers for those in need — which seem to be many this year. Thoughts for a good end of semester for 2 college age family members who have been raised Jewish. I do pray that all goes well for them — we are living in a crazy world right now. Weather here is cold but I may run out for a few gifts. Getting to the end of my shopping. I keep on thinking something must be wrong that I am finished this early! DH Bill had a doctors appointment yesterday that went very well. Bloodwork results were very positive. Yay! Good morning and best wishes to all. Big job today is getting DH to the lab for his blood work. I went yesterday to my primary care to try to figure out cause of the migraines. Good morning, all. Cold here today in SE PA. DH just left with our nephew to get his driver’s license renewed. He doesn’t drive but wants one anyway. Trying to finish up shopping. At this point in my life I don’t know what I would do without Amazon! Have a great day. Katherine

Good morning. It seems like quite a few on this thread need prayer. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Glad to hear Roy is getting closer to home. There is nothing more comforting than one’s own home. I have been in constant contact with my doctor since my overnight stay in the hospital last Saturday night. Nausea mostly gone but still having bits of headache. I will continue to monitor and contact Dr as needed. I am going to try to put up some decorations today. This is very late for me to get started. Thank goodness that Roy is on his way home. I am sure it will feel great to walk through his from door. Love the pictures of Murphy. What a sweet child. Can’t imagine the relief for her family. Saw my doctor today as a follow up to my stay in the hospital Saturday for a severe migraine. Now I am fighting nausea. Taking medication and hoping I feel better soon, Katherine

Oh, Roy, so sorry to hear this. The hospital I was at was very busy too. My son was concerned that it took so long for me to get pain meds last night. I agree - keep on asking for food. A squeaky wheel gets oiled. Best wishes for a comfortable night.

Prayers for Roy for a quick recovery and for all in need. I love the holidays but I am glad this hectic one is over. I have had a few migraines over the past few months. The worst was Saturday when I ended spending the night in the hospital. The good news is no brain bleed or stroke. Family was able to stay with DH so all was good, Now I have to follow up with primary care. It’s always something! Katherine

Good morning everyone. Happy preThanksgiving weekend. Lots for me to get done as company coming later this week. Health issues continue here. DH Bill continuing with cipro for urinary tract pain. Seems to be getting better but what worries me is that DH had pain also in October when I was away with DS Karen. Because urgent care doctor said to go directly to hospital emergency if this happens again I am worried. Dr implied other conditions may be impacting urinary tract. Speaking of DS Karen - she has been hospitalized for the past two nights with stomach pains. Tests are clear but pain continues. It never seems to end! Good morning to all. Best wishes for a safe and happy day. At home after our trip and most of the clothes and packing stuff washed and put away. Now starting to get ready for Thanksgiving company and dinner. Catering our meal from Wegmans gives my sister and me a mostly stress free holiday. DH Bill has returned from the trip with some type of bladder pain but no infection detected. May be from high glucose levels. Given an antibiotic and pain reliever. Bill will see his primary care doctor in a few weeks. Present diagnosis was from an Urgent Care. It’s always something! Prayers for whatever your plans for the upcoming week. Happy Halloween! It will be a cold one for sure. If it is a typical year we will have 250 - 300 visitors tonight. A busy two hours for me. DH Bill says he will be ok for the trip Sunday on Anthem. Happy Birthday to Graham, one of our many kind and thoughtful posters. 🎂 Last day for my birthday cruise with my sister. Lots of fun! This was a “freebie” cruise for her and she invited me along. DH and I actually have a cruise on Anthem of the Seas on 11/5. This was booked long before the birthday cruise came about or I wouldn’t have booked so close together. I will evaluate DH Bill when I get home. I keep on hearing from home that “all is well” but I will want to see for myself. Prayers for our country and all individuals/families in need. Times are tough right now but I know, with God’s help, we will persevere. Katherine

Good morning. Thanks to all who post and keep this thread active. Prayers for all in need. Very cool here and furnace has been “finicky”. Our furnace guy gave me some things to try including changing the batteries in the thermostat. Hoping all will return to normal. I have decided to take the trip on Liberty of the Seas tomorrow with my twin. Celebrating birthday on Saturday. DD coming to stay with her Dad. Luckily, by using the wifi on the ship, I can use wifi calling to keep in touch. DH Bill says he is feeling fine. On Saturday we will be in Boston and will probably stay on the ship. Forecast is for wind and rain. The only two ports I hope we make are Bar Harbor and St John, New Brunswick. With a nor’easter forecast I am thinking we may have some itinerary changes. Good morning and prayers for all in need. Thinking about world problems — and prayers for the innocent people of Israel and Ukraine. It breaks my heart to see regular, ordinary people being so horribly effected by the actions of others. I can’t for the life of me understand why so many “leaders” work towards conflict rather than a peaceful life. But enough of my rant!! Good to see so many cruising. We are all very fortunate to be able to do so. DH Bill seems to be improving. Less coughing and sleeping better. I have a decision to make about whether or not to join my twin on Liberty of the Seas next Thursday. It is a free cruise for her and she invited me along. I only have to pay the fees and taxes. It would be fun since we would celebrate our birthday together. Our daughter would come to stay but I am not sure I am ready to leave DH. Good morning and best wishes for good health and relief from stressful situations. I have been mostly AWOL since returning from our Greenland trip. Lovely voyage and would do it again in a heartbeat. DH still recovering from bronchitis—it’s a slow process. Very rainy forecast for this weekend — hoping east coast mlb playoff games go off without a hitch.
