  2. As I said earlier, I had to wait 2 hours on the phone. Check the airline schedule and see what flights you would prefer. Call EZAIR and get them to change you to your "new" choice". It was the airline that changed your flights, now EZAIR, but they should fix it at no cost to you.
  3. We just got off a slot tournament cruise. Ruby Princess - 10 day out of SF. My husband got the offer, so he got to participate in the slot tournament. He did not want to, but did, because the offer was not available to me (don't know why, we both play and are equal in our playing time and money) Out of 220 players, he came in 50th place - money was paid out 1st - 48th - so he won no money. We are both in a slot tournament in Jan 2023.
  4. We were on the Ruby a few weeks ago. We received a specialty dinner as one of the perks of the princess plus at the time we booked. As soon as we got on board, my husband went to the Crown Grill to book a day and time that we wanted. He was told that he was already booked and they could not change his day or time as they were totally booked for the cruise (10 day cruise). We went to our cabin and there was a card on the desk says that we had a complimentary dinner and our time and date was listed. The Crown was open every other day. The serving time was horrible. Over two hours. Our reservation was for 6:00 and we were seated next to the check in stand - everyone who came in had to wait as the earlier diners were not finishing up - so there was no where for them to sit - people not happy. Food was excellent - timing not so good

  7. I am assuming that the OP played in the casino and they were given the promotion free play . If you play in the casino (which we do on sea days) you will get offers in the future - some good, some bad and some really good

  10. If it is showing up on your Travel Summary, once on board the ship, go to the casino. Pick a slot machine, create an account and it will show up as "free play" - or go to the casino cage to verify.
  11. We were Celebrity cruisers. Then wanted "no flying" so we booked Princess out of LA - we live in the Orange County area. We just finished our 10th cruise with Princess Dec 2021 two cruises on Majestic March 2022 one cruise on Majestic April 2022 one cruise on Discovery June 2022 one cruise on Ruby we are now scheduled for a B2B out of NYC - yes we are flying to NYC and just spent 4 hours on the phone with EZAIR because our flight was changed and no one notified us. This morning just booked a Casino Slot Tournament offer. Total paid $823 for two in a balcony with princess plus and entry into the slot tournament received $400 OBC and $600 casino free play money This is why we book with Princess. We get great offers and yes we gamble in the casino. We could go to the Indian Casinos but we don't get feed all day long or free drinks. The downside now is the customer service people when booking the cruises. They are new and having trouble getting the info in the system correctly. We have no problem on the ships (even though we do not wish to go back on the Ruby) - the staff are friendly, hardworking and efficient. We have no problem with the food. By the time we do our cruise in Jan 2023, we will have sailed 8 times in 13 months. I would consider trying some of the other cruise lines, but I don't want to pay for my cabin. I end up paying for that when I go to the casino.

We cruise on Princess our offers are: free inside, casino free play - varies between $150 - $500, entry in slot tournament or Black Jack or Free Balcony with princess plus (free wifi, gratuities, drink package) We book if we get free cabin (if inside, we pay to upgrade to Balcony) and free casino play not worried about the plus package, not big drinkers, so we have to come out of pocket for gratuities only.
  13. Just went into my Princess acct and my booking was not showing the Princess Plus, not the correct Casino Play money. Had to call the Casino dept back and get everything corrected. I was told to wait 24 hours to have my file updated. We will see .......
  14. I just spent one hour on the phone with the Casino dept. Got my offer booked. This is for a slot tournament cruise on Jan 7th on Discovery out of LA port paid $422.60 + the deposit of $400 which will returned OBC (we get the vac protection insurance) Check your Cicle Savings Acount - my offer came in the Onboard Credits section, my husband got the email
  15. It was emailed to us on June 16 (we were on an Alaska cruise, so could not respond). It is for free cabin, princess plus and entry into slot tournaments - 2 out of LA, 1 out of San Diego, 1 out of SF, 1 out of Galveson and 2 out of Fort Lauderdale
  16. We received a casino offer. I called this morning to book one of the cruises, all the west coast cruises are showing unavailable. The booking rep has no idea why. Said it must be sold out. I told them they didn't know what was going on. Why would they send an email giving us an offer for dates that are not available.
  17. We were on this cruise, and both my husband and I have been feeling run down since we got home. This morning I took a at home covid test and it was negative, so guess being old and traveling is harder on the old bod. We wore our masks at all times outside of the cabin except when eating.
  18. Just got off Ruby Princess - last stop was Prince Rubert, Canada no one asked to see our ArriveCan form - I asked the Canada official and he said that they were told that we only needed to show our medallion
  19. I am calling AA tomorrow to make sure any changes to either of my flights, I will be notified immediately. Don't know why they didn't for my current problem, but maybe they had notified Princess, but they don't want to admit it Very poor customer service in the EZAIR department
  20. I called Princess again at 10:30 a.m. - on hold for two hours - finally got an EZAIR rep. Explained the problem and gave her the "new" flight we would like to be booked on. She said she would put me on hold and check it out - but she did take my number in case we got disconnected. 30 minutes later she was back - did not know why AA had changed our flight, but she asked if i would accept a flight that would leave 2 hours later than the original - I told her NO - give me the "new flight" that I ask you about earlier 15 minutes later she was back - good news she found a flight (it was the same "new" flight I gave her) So after 3 1/2 hours I finally got my flights set. Now I have to call AA and get my seat assignments. Do not use EZAIR - work directly with the airlines.
  21. Update: I have talked to four different departments - there is no direct number for EZAIR and the wait is now over 2 hours. I finally hung up and will try again later - I have a life and need to do something else than try to get help from Princess. I emailed the Casino department - they are the ones that booked our cruise - I got a response that I would be contacted in FIVE business days - no thank you I will not book air through Princess again. I may not go on Princess again. Very frustrating.
  22. I am currently on hold with EZAir - our flight returning from NYC in September was changed by the airline to a 9:30 am flight - no notice to me or to Princess. I called Princess yesterday and they said i had to call the AA airline. I called and they said that the ticket has not been paid for yet (by princess) I paid in Octber 2021 and they could not change anything. I am now on the phone waiting to talk to someone. This is why we do not like flying to take a cruise - too much outside interference. We just returned from San Francisco and our flight was delayed two hours due to plane problems. Too much hassle to fly and make all the arrangements If Princess doesn't get this resolved, I will be cancelling our cruise and get my money back.
  23. I always bring a small cheap battery operated alarm clock that has the push bottom on top so you can see the time in the middle of the night. We used the stateroom phone for wake up on the final morning - along with my alarm clock on the ship phone, hit the "wake up" button and it will tell you to put in the time for the alarm. then it will say press 1 to change, press 2 to cancel - no pressing to say if your time is correct, but it worked and the alarm went off as scheduled
  24. My husband and I wore masks outside of our room. I would guess that only 10% wore masks. No one made attention to the elevators - we would pass on getting on when there were more than 4 people. If others crowded on, we would get off. The dining room was horrible on the placement of tables. If you want to sit two people "alone" you end up sitting with all the other two people tables, so there is a long line of 6 or 7 tables all one foot apart. This is not six feet separation as signs around the ship suggest. I did point that out to the manager in the dinning room and he could care less.
  25. We were on this cruise. Had a long delay flying home from SFO to John Wayne Airport, but got home in time to have a Father's Day dinner with the kids. This was our 5th cruise in the past 7 months. the others were on the Majestic and Discovery. Of the 10 cruises we have done with Princess this ship is by far the worst. First the Good: the fine quality is good. The staff all over the ship work hard. We went to Alaska! the food in the Dining Rooms were alwasy good, buffet was too crowded and not enough sitting, the Slice Pizza was very good. The Bad: The port of SFO is so badly run. The long line outside the building not necessary (the bathrooms in the outer buildings were locked) - The port at San Pedro is run so much better. It took us over an hour to get checked in. Long lines. Wifi - don't bother purchasing a package or getting more than one device. Wait to get off the ship and then use your phone to send text messages or emails. My husband left his phone in the safe the whole time. Went to use the computer in the I.T. area so I could print my boarding passes for yesterday's flight and they would not connect to the internet site. Even the I.T. guy said the system was bad Crown Grill - took over two hours to finish our dinner. Reservation was for 6:00 - took 15 minutes before we got our drink and ordered our food. Another 20 minutes for the 1st course, 20 minutes for 2nd course and 35 minutes for main course. We told them no dessert, it was our bedtime. Food is excellent. Salty Dog Gastro (deck 7) - cost is $18 per person. Took over 90 minutes to get our food and did not come as ordered. Ship does not have enough eating places. the other Ships have Gigi's, Anthony's, sushi, etc. Our next cruise is in two months on the Caribbean, hoping things improve.
