I wish Princess would combined couples in the same room. My husband and I do over 8,000 points, but we individually get the inside offer and free play. I would like the free balcony.

we have only been on Princess for the past 6 -7 years. Both my husband and I gamble on 7 day cruise we may get between 3,000 - 4,000 points. Early that would get us a free balony and some free play ($400) now all offers are for inside and we have to pay to upgrade to oceanview or balcony and the free play is $250

Red Hook is the port in Brooklyn - that is where we boarded and returned to for our cruise We flew into La Guardia and flew out of JFK - both are about the same distance. We flew in a day early, stayed in hotel in Brooklyn.

We are playing in the actual slot tournament: certain machines are set aside for the players to use. Your name is in their computer, and you are assigned a time and machine to play. You do not insert your medallion or money. When you play you are hitting the start button as fast as you can and the screen will spin and your points will show. Some tournaments the screen will have stars, ballons or bubbles that you hit to get extra points. If you are in first place among the players you are playing against a large #1 will come on the screen to let you know that you are in first place, but that will disappear quickly because the points change every second. Some tournaments are one round, two rounds or more. We have been in where it is the highest points out of all the players is the winner. Other tournaments, you eliminate 100 players and you start over with a new round, until you get down to 8 or 10 players.

do the on line registration, using the adult that is currently assigned to the same cabin. once on board, the first day, go to the camp, fill out the paperwork and add others that are allowed to drop off or pick up kids. We traveled with our grandkids, and the parents and us were allowed to drop off and pick up.

We were off the ship in no time, but the parking lot with the buses was a zoo. They did not have signs on the buses as to where they were going and you had to ask which bus, then double check. We got to are port in plenty of time, but It should have been better organized.

Most of the free cabin offers with Princess have been 10 day max. Except earlier this year we had offers and they were up to 20 days. I booked a 17 day Alaska cruise round trip out of Seattle using the free cabin offer

We had two cabins, one with my son, his wife and two grandkids - room two my husband and I. We went to guest services and I had all the medallions set to open either cabin door. No questions, no problems. It worked out great.

I tried to find the hotel we stayed at in Brooklyn, but already trashed the paperwork. We flew into LaGuardia airport - tried to book hotel close to airport - but due to tennis tournament, none were available. So we booked in the "downtown Brooklyn" area - I believe it was a Marriott, for under $200 for the night. Cab ride from airport was $30 and Cab ride from hotel to Red Hook to cruise ship was $30. Make sure you have the address for the Red Hook on piece of paper so that the Cab or Uber can find the place. Our guy drove all over the place trying to find it. The area in downtown Brooklyn is nice - the hotel had a bar that served food and we had a view out the window of the Statue of Liberty and I could see our ship the next morning.

We got spoiled once the ships started sailing again after covid. We booked 7 cruises with casino offers, mostly VIP or Heart offers. We did 3 cruises this year and all the offers coming in have been for free interior, $250 free play and nothing else. No plus package, so we have to pay for the gratuities. I did book one cruise - sort of a bucket list. 17 day alaska cruise out of Seattle round trip. We had to pay $600 pp to upgrade to oceanview cabin and we will have to pay for gratuities, and it is not until 2025. We have no plans to book anything for 2024 unless the offers get better. If we did not have the free interior offer, our cost for the ocean view cabin would have been $4200pp so we are saving $7000 for the trip on just the cabin cost. I shouldn't complain, a lot of people will be paying a lot of money for this cruise.

Our previous offers were for a free cabin, plus package, casino free play money. currently our offers are for the free cabin, no plus package, so we have to pay the gratuities and the wifi. on our last cruise, I booked the cabin, and did not pay the gratuities upfront. Once on board, we had the $200 per person deposit money on our account (total of $400) and I let them bill us for the gratuities to our cabin daily. So we used the deposit money to pay the gratuities and our coffee and soft drink purchases.

If you want water, order the case of water to be delivered to your room. You have to order prior to the cruise. There are 12 16 oz bottles per case for $7.05. I purchase packets of powdered lemonade, or gatorade and add to the water bottle. Some people are happy to bring their own container and fill it with the bathroom sink water. We normally get one coffee each at the international cafe in the morning, then have more coffee in the MDR or buffet for breakfast. Even when we had free room service delivery, we only used room service once during the cruise. So not getting room service is not a problem for us.

on Celebrity - hit five bonus that paid $1800 and then got 25 or 40 spins and one a whopping $18 or so more. most of the bonus spins gave me nothing. On same trip had the same symbol on every spot and won $400 on Princess, have had $600+, $992, $1,000 would love to get the big one

Everyone has a different reason for cruising, but that said, I compare the ports and price.

First, I would like to say that I am sorry that you are going through this medical situation. You do not need any added stress. I have been there. second, don't waste another minute dealing with the customer service or anyone else. You have more important things to concentrate on and the poor response from Princess is not worth your time. Unfortunately, there are a lot of stupid people out there.

You will need to read the fine print with the offers. Most offers from the casino allow you to book 3 cruises per offer. If the offer is giving you free play money, you only get the free money on the first cruise, no free play money for the second and third.

On our last cruise, I bought in one of the lounge chairs from the balcony to use in the cabin. I liked that I could adjust the back and then I would read. The chair they provided was very uncomfortable. When we would leave the cabin, I would put it back on the balcony.

We have only one cruised booked for the future. We have would love to do more, but paying extra for food ventures, drinks, just gets in the way of enjoying the cruise. Our next cruise is Alaska 17 nights - no way we will pay $60 to $80 per day per person for the packages.

As with any company, Princess is trying to find ways to make more money. Unfortunately, we the consumer are the ones they try to get to pay for these changes. Lucky I have a choice - I choose not to pay extra - but then I miss out on some of the things that I like. But I have a choice. If enough people make the choice that shows the company made a bad decision, maybe down the road things will go back. Probably not - but the silent majority has to be heard.

We have done 10 cruises since Covid stoppage. Whether it was Alfredo's or Gigi's we never had a problem getting a table. They were never "crowded" except on embarkation day, That said, we will not be eating there anymore, as we do not purchase the "plus" package and we will not pay to eat there. The pizza is fine, but I have no problem with the slice pizza on the upper deck. I do like the other items on the menu, but again, will not pay for it.

We have booked a 17 night cruise on Princess out of Seattle round trip for May 2025 We really wanted to try Holland America for longer cruise, but the cost was way more, so we booked the Princess. We will fly to Seattle the day before. again, thank you for all of your respones.

We cruise using our offers from the casino. Usually a free cabin plus casino play money. The only time we get free drinks, or offers of a free dinner has been on a VIP cruise. We are regular casino players, but not high rollers, so we do not get approached by the casino rep unless we are on a VIP, or Slot tournament cruise. Once you are established as a casino player and get offers for the casino discount, or free cabins, you will receive emails/flyers that indicate the special cruises. We enjoy the VIP cruises.
