We always cruised with CAS until Princess started offering better deals. Princess does not charge that administration fee that NCL does. You may or may not get comped the drink package ( which also includes daily gratuities and free wi fi not limited to certain minutes) With NCL free at sea charges you 18% gratuity on the meal and drink package This was over $300 on a 7 day cruise. Our next cruise is 11 day California coast. Net cost for 2 with balcony comes to around $700 (after subtracting the free play and OBC). NCL doesn’t come close PS. We’re from Troy

I have never gotten a drink card like they give at NCL. Most of my cruises have included the Princess plus and if not, I purchased it. Unlike NCL they do not charge extra for gratuities on drink package. Princess also included free Wi-Fi and daily service charge in the package unlike the FAS package. Princess also does not charge an “administration fee” on the comped cruises.

Did you know you could buy Princess gift cards on Amazon? Maybe put some in a card for a surprise

Mix and match. A couple of key pieces you can wear various tops with. Nobody cares,or remembers,if you wear the same thing a few times. And go easy with the shoes. They add weight and take a lot of room in your suitcase

Took about 3 weeks for the Plus and OBC showed up. Only found it when I went to my booked cruise and clicked on on board activities. Scrolled to bottom and there it was. No updated email sent

We recently got an offer and decided to look into Bermuda for a quick getaway. Our free cruise was $1400. They charge gratuity on the drink package and specialty restaurant. Plus an administrative fee and port taxes. Still less than booking regular fare but hardly free. They used to be more generous.

Just got my promised amenities. If you go to your booked cruise and click on the on board services. Scroll to bottom and everything is there except free play. I know I can get that in the casino. Never got an updated email

Applies to both. The problem is getting on your reservation. When you call the # ,they can make the reservation but have to send it to someone else to add it. It seems to be an ongoing problem since they changed the cruise consultants. I’ve been waiting 3 weeks and was told originally it would be 14 days.

Figure $16 pp/ for tips. That is $320. Then $10 per day for Wi-Fi so that’s another $200 Only 2 drinks/day per person averages $720. ( $15 plus20%=$ 18 per drink) So you're $40 ahead.

Went on her in September. One odd thing was the access to our balcony. Wall had a round port hole and a regular glass door to access the balcony. No problem just different

Received an offer for interior room with Princess Plus. Called to book and that’s where problems started. Upgraded to balcony and paid the difference plus the $200 pp deposit and taxes and port fees. My summary does not show the $200 as OBC , our free play or the amenities with Princess Plus. Agent said she would send to “elevate it”. Still waiting. Luckily, I kept the actual offer I got. Never had this happen before

Same with us on recent cruise. I figured it would not be a problem, so showed up at right time and told them we had requested a private table but now showed shared. Maitre d was rude. He did find us a table but said this could not happen every day! I was able to change it on app (had not been able prior to cruise) though got different times and alternate DR.

Anyone been to Monterey recently.? We are scheduled to stop there this fall but question if we will. Wonder if they would substitute another port or apt for an added sea day

Taxi at port was $10 more than walking short distance into town. Plus the man organizing the taxis was rude

If you are planning on going to the beach, pick the one with longest port time. We were recently in Grenada from 7-2. Did not bother with beach as not enough time to enjoy
