    Planning on Sept 27 from Vancouver to Cal coast and return to Vancouver. We always book a balcony but question if that is needed for this cruise. First 4 sea days will probably be too cool to sit out and same with return trip. Also in ports till around 7 pm. Any insight would be appreciated

    We self embarked and were in a taxi by 6:55. No problem getting elevator around 7

    Just of Enchanted. OBC was on my account. I did charge casino play to my room and it was subtracted from the OBC.

    It was wonderful. They allow 20 people at each sitting and do 2 sittings a night. Ours was 7:30. Think the other was 5:30. We went the first full day and it spoiled us for the rest of the trip!

    If you look at your statement, there was a $5 and change credit for Bonair. Nothing for Aruba as we still got a port (Curacao)

    On Enchanted it was in the pastry shop in the buffet area. I think there were 3 or 4 choices. Didn’t try any and didn’t see a lot of people in line to get them

    I’m on a Princess cruise now. We skipped Bonair after 2 attempts to dock due to the wind shear. Today was suppose to be Aruba but we’re in Curaco. Last fall on NCL, whole cruise switched from western to eastern Caribbean. Again weather related. When you cruise you roll with the punches

    Waste of money in my opinion. Staff sometimes unaware of what to do. We have priority due to status and they don’t know what we’re talking about

    Princess seems a bit sedate. This is a 10 day cruise so that may account for older demographics. Entertainment is lacking also. For DH and myself it’s a good fit. Younger people may prefer NCL. That’s the line we take our granddaughter on

    Yes but offers look screwed up. Tried to upgrade and got same price as when I went on without signing in. Would rather speak with someone directly

    Does anyone know if cruise lines provide an airport shuttle? Specifically looking at post Princess cruise. Also which airport is closest to Galveston port?

    Guess it depends on how much you eat and drink. It’s cheaper to just go to either Eagle or Palm beach. We’re going toReflections beach club. Close to port. Chairs and umbrellas for rent.

    Just make sure you send them the first sign up night. That seems to be where they meet each other as they’re all “ new”.

    Sorry do not know how to do that. But after you sign in go to onboard services scroll to bottom and everything is there We did make reservations as casino comp so don’t know if that makes a difference.

    Do you need to have the Jeep back by 4? You’ll still have plenty of time left. Play it by ear. You may want to spend extra time snorkeling or at the beach. Remember the island is only about 20 miles long by 6 miles wide. Traffic can be tough some days,especially if there are a lot of ships in port
