  1. I’ve found using the web site seems to increase the price. If I chose one of the $0 offers, and add Princess Plus it comes to over $2000. As far as I know the package is now $60 pp/ day. That is far less than the amount they are charging. Guess I’ll continue to book over the phone
  2. Offers have not been as generous as previously ( at least not for us) but still better than full price. Always got balcony but recently only offered inside and then pay to upgrade.
  3. Many safari like shuttles at port to take. Can’t remember exact cost but inexpensive. There is also a charge to get in. Think it was around $3. Shuttles stay there so easy to get back to ship. Yes you can rent lounges, chairs and umbrellas
  4. Totally nude is down by where Club Orient was. It has never reopened after the hurricane. Topless is common all over the beach
  5. There are days with 2 ships in. In fact when we are there 3/5 there is also an Oceania in port
  6. We went on CP and shorts were allowed. 3 months later they were not. Guess it depends on whether Maitre D enforces the dress code. Doesn’t take much to throw a pair of long pants in your luggage
  7. We were there in Sept and were able to rent chairs. We had to wait around until someone showed up though. I know a lot of people like it here but we’ve been twice and will not go back. Was not as well kept up and beach was rocky.
  8. What about a day pass at one of the hotels?
  9. I received a Princess gift card. We have a cruise paid in full in February. How do we apply it ( without calling Princess). Can I bring it to guest services to be applied?
  10. This is what we usually do. We sometimes look for an inexpensive room and book that. Then you have benefit of an actual room and often free shuttle to airport

    Reflections

Can anyone verify if Reflections has reopened
  12. On NCL never got kids free with comped cruise. Comp was for 2 guests only
  13. When you log in it shows how much time you have left. You will each have your own account. Make sure you log out or you will lose your time even if you are not using it
  14. Booked my comped cruise with a Princess agent at Players club. Later went on line and added Princess plus for $50 pp per day. Had no issues
  15. That explains my last call. Tried to book without an email or mail offer. Usually no problem. I was on phone for 50 minutes and at the end the price quoted was more than if I booked myself on line without any comp!
  16. If your ship gets in later, Nachi has extended hours
  17. Have frequently used SAS if going a day early and staying in hotel
  18. Very limited. If I remember the only outlet was over by the desk. Outlet in bathroom was only for razor. There were ports to plug in phones etc in the bedside light.
  19. You’ll watch pre cruise on your phone or tablet. You will then receive numerous requests to watch even though you already have. Just ignore those
  20. Had this happen a few years ago. Instead of Miami we disembarked in New Orleans. Was able to change our flights on line (no charge for internet). They did reimburse us for additional charges. Those that drove to port had chartered flights back to Miami at no cost. Many complaints from those people though. But some people complain no matter what. We got a 7 day cruise extended to 9 days. No complaints from us !
  21. I also find CAS has tightened the purse strings. Always got a balcony or mini suite. Lately only comped inside though play is the same. I then upgrade to balcony With upgrade and admin fees , my free cruise is usually around $1200. Still not bad for a weeks vacation. Compare to Princess with no fees. Do have a $200 pp deposit which is not refundable but shows up as a OBC which you can have refunded. Add to that the free play they give and you know who I now cruise with
  22. NCL does allow you to combine your certificates but Princess does not. I tried and no go
  23. A daily service charge is added to your account daily. Believe it’s $15-16 pp per day ,depends on when you booked and where your cabin is located. 20% is added to drink package when you purchase. Technically you do not need to tip anything else (no more envelopes with cash needed) though I usually give a little extra to my room steward and bartenders
