  1. Ah! I see. Supposedly booking Monday morning around 12am is the best time to book.
  2. Are you kidding? I would've booked the week the fares opened.
  3. I just checked our B2B. For some reason, the second half of our B2B has disappeared but we're still booked on the end transfer and a tour on it too. Our OBC has gone from $900 (what it should be) to $2400. I'm sure it'll get straightened out sooner or later, it's just so frustrating! I want to book tours for the second half but can't pull any of them up because it's disappeared. What a mess!
  4. I'd think his feet would hang over the end of the bed a lot. Looks pretty uncomfortable IMO and it's RIGHT next to your bed. Just some things to consider.
  5. We've had full suites on both HAL and Princess. I think the suite perks on Princess are very good. Very similar mostly to HAL but HAL has the Neptune Lounge whereas the older Princess ships don't have a lounge (if that's important to you). I think you'd find Princess suites to be very spacious and comfortable.
  6. It was so loud on the Emerald in August & September that every time the rock band would play, people would leave in droves. The music used to be enjoyable. Not on our most recent experience.
  7. He'll know (and/or his supervisor) whether you've pre-paid your gratuities or not but that's it as far as I know.
  8. I know you can in the specialty restaurants. They even asked us. "Uh...no thanks!"
  9. I'd be really surprised if they didn't allow it in August. The show runs from August 2-24, 2024. Maybe the date you're looking at is before or after the Tattoo performance dates? They've had tickets on sale since August 7th of this year. Make sure you buy tickets early whether you buy them independently or through Princess. We booked our own through the Tattoo website and did a whisky tasting dinner at The Whisky Experience which was a lot of fun and I definitely recommend that. Took the train back to the ship at the end of the night - again, a lot of fun!
  10. Thanks everyone for the Baltic itinerary help. I guess we'll have to look to Azamara instead. I don't think I can convince my DH to ever go on an NCL ship again. Thanks.
  11. So, which ship(s) will be doing the Baltic in Summer, 2025? I'm sorry if I missed it. Anyone know? Thanks! Anxious to book a Baltic (hopefully) on a Radiance Class ship!
  12. I think we're going to hold out until RCI releases their bookings for 2025. As much as we love Azamara, I'm hoping to add more days to our total by going with Royal and hoping to get our favorite cabin on (hopefully) a Radiance Class ship.
  13. We may have to do that. I just hate to lose the $150 fee if we cancel. They charge that on every booking for cancelling far in advance.
  14. Lots of others. We booked it for 2020, 2021 and 2022. Each time was cancelled due to Covid or Putin & we were hoping he’d get his act together by 2023. Clearly STP isn’t going to be on any itineraries soon so we’ll have to cut our losses there and enjoy the rest of the Baltic.
  15. Anxiously awaiting Baltic cruises in summer, 2025. The other cruise lines have their itineraries out. Wish Royal Caribbean did too. I'm worried about losing a good cabin on Azamara if RCI doesn't come up with a good itinerary and ship sailing there.
  16. I've been waiting months for my OLD level to show up. I've sent in the forms, I've called multiple times, no changes yet. "Keep waiting" they tell me...it's been 4 months. How much longer?!
  17. The only benefit on that class of ship IMO, is the no-reservation dining. This kind of mini-suite is all we've booked in the past 5-6 cruises with Princess. I'm not sure if the lines for dining are long on this class of ship, but they've been horrible on the newer Royal Class ships the past couple times. The people WITH reservations were waiting 1.5-2 hrs. to get in to dine. To be able to walk past those lines of grumpy people waiting to get into the dining room is SO worth it. Again, may not be that way on the Grand Class ships.
  18. Agree. We saw the crepe station too. It's in the same area as the stir-fry in the buffet. Again, not every night, but quite a few out of 20 days onboard.
  19. Although they don't have a permanent stir-fry station, in the back of the buffet there is a station where they'll make it for you. It's not every night, but every so often. The other nights, they're usually cooking something else to your specifications. The best stir-fry we've had was on Celebrity and it was offered every night.
  20. The only reason NOT to upgrade is if you don't want to spend the money. The Cat. GSs on the Radiance Class ships are amazing. That's all we ever book - that class of ship and that suite.
  21. Yes, that's automatic UNLESS you tell them right then when you're booking the FCD. You'll need the phone number of your new agent. Otherwise, you need to make the change at home and in a timely manner. With the current state of chaos at the headquarters, I'd think that issue would be pushed to the back burner. Also, the agent may have a cancellation fee if you move the booking away from them.
  22. I noticed that too and it's a shame. She is such a performer and very entertaining!
  23. The first agent may have a cancellation fee. Check the small print of your invoice from him/her. You would never have to pay the agent their commission - only the cancellation fee, if there is one. I'm not sure on Azamara's booking transfer policy but some cruise lines say it must be done with 30 or 60 days of inception. I tried Googling it but no luck. Your original TA should be able to tell you what your options are. Just be up front with him/her and explain the situation. Most TAs are pretty reasonable.
  24. Thank you so much, DrH, Laurieb and combine! Sounds like it’ll be an easier process than I expected. We had over 440 B2Bers with Princess and it took forever. Thanks again!
