  1. I can hear you going all Captain Queeg now; "All right, who did it, ...."
  2. Yes, but you will need to share the same log-in and password. Just make something up that all can remember.
  3. I usually don't buy the dining package due to the restrictions/they will decide when and where we dine. I did buy it for our April cruise - but like I've read others say - if it does not change to allow selection of time and place by the end of January, we will simply cancel. Easy enough.
  4. We usually hit Blu at 6 on the first night & let them know we will be there every night at 6 - unless we let them know ahead of time (specialty, etc.). Never had a problem so far.
  5. I must be old. I remember when "My" time dining meant you were the "My" and not them. Need to change it to (TTD) Their Time Dining or another name that I'd get flagged for posting.
  6. I don't have a problem waiting until I'm on board. If the times we want aren't available, we will simply cancel it.
  7. Celebrity - Aqua class (dining in Blu) and MSC - Yacht Club only. Those are our top 2 for now. (Yes, I understand RC & X have the same ultimate corp. masters and feed the same stock).
  8. The chaos of the MDR is one, but not the primary, reason we no longer cruise RC after over 32 years spanning about 500 nights. Booked a last one coming up in April to say a final goodbye to a ship that has special meaning for us, then we are done. Planning on all specialty and some WJ - but not the MDR. Have moved on.
  9. Have never received one from them.
  10. PVSA also applies to air travel, not just ships, so it's a bigger issue.
  11. FYI the "white" YC tent was "blue" a few weeks ago. Located in the same spot, base of escalators - but it did throw us off for a few seconds.
  12. Have more nights on the Serenade than any other ship. One of our favorites. Worst places to be delayed.
  13. Off the Seaside yesterday after a 7 night cruise. Parking at the port including all taxes & fees $145.52. Worth it to park right across the street from the terminal. Not a fan of off-site shuttles considering the modest $ difference.
  14. Off Seaside 7 night yesterday in YC. No weed that I smelled. But, YC was out of the Toblerone chocolate bars & Pringles didn't show up until day 4. Connection from the previous weed sailing???
  15. I think it completely depends on service. I tip the person, not the position. Have had some butler's that were pretty much a no-show and others that were outstanding.
  16. Some of the details above differ from US to Europe and even from FL to NY. For Port Canaveral (we drive in) we generally get to the port garage about 9:30 - park - check with the white tent - escorted through security to the YC terminal lounge for the actual check-in, then escorted aboard. Generally in the TS lounge by 10:30/10:45. YMMV.
  17. Excellent! Diamond and sailing in about 2 1/2 weeks in YC. Is that now on the pre-cruise selection list along with the kind of pillow and newspaper? 😎 (Sarcasm emphasis added).
  18. Check with room service and see who ordered pizzas a half hour later?
  19. Should be OK. There is a difference in the PVSA between a foreign port and a "distant" foreign port.
  20. Always have a YC only boarding line at every port.
  21. Don't really care for the new block design at all.
