@Ocean Boy, I took Lucy to the vet in the new carrier you recommended. It worked great, and the vet tech even admired it and how easy it was to get her in and out. Hope it helps with Jade. Lucy has gained a pound in the last month, so it appears that her thyroid med is working. They did blood work today that will show the actual results in a couple of days.

Galveston is also our homeport, and I have only cruised Carnival from there (although I've sailed on other lines from other cities). I have not seen such terrible behavior out of Galveston, although I'm sure it happens. How about you?

I had something similar happen last Christmas. It wasn't from an ad on social media; it was a site that showed up in the results when I did a Google shopping search. The site looked totally legit, and I fell for it since it was mixed in with other real shopping sites in my search results. I realized something was wrong when the name of the company that charged my CC was weird and different from the website. I then did a search on that company and found out that it was a scam site. I disputed the charge on my CC and then had to get a new card/account number and change all of the recurring charges. Such a pain.

Those are MUCH nicer towels than we had on Allure in July. Maybe they are replacing them with better ones now?

@MeganGC1983 had the same experience on this cruise in her review. I wonder if there was just a bad mix of pax on this cruise or if it is typical for this ship and/or homeport?

Nice! Is the main advantage that it opens from the side and not the end? Someone at the vet broke the door on our carrier the last time we were there with Lucy, and I need to replace it.

Yeah, ALL of that for a pinky finger. Seems excessive to me! But it's been like that both times he's broken that same finger.

#47 got to play a few downs last night in spite of his huge cast + foam cover. And the cast was finally removed this morning!
