  1. Thank you for posting these great pictures. Looking forward to the Nova in August- we are ready to go!!
  2. Holy Crap!!! You all are correct. I have new best friends that I never knew about. I sure hope this gets resolved quickly.
  3. I thought that diet coke and coke zero were the same thing?
  4. The last few times at Silver Note, the music started at 9PM. The piano player would do a couple of tunes and then the singer would come on.
  5. Thanks for starting this thread and also for keeping it going. This has been a lot of good information Terry!!
  6. On my last two cruises last year, the bow ties never showed up. I think it is a mixed bag.
  7. I was booked on the inaugural voyage in July and that got canceled. I am now on the second voyage in August and I too am hoping the construction schedule is on time for August.
  8. My response was to samanina and not to gourmet gal. I hope that clears up my post a little bit.
  9. Is there something wrong with a Fillipino crew or is something wrong with a white European crew. This feels a little weird or almost racist.
  10. We just did a cruise on the Dawn last July and last November. Everything could not have been better. We love all the dinner choices and the service and quality was over the top. You can't always believe what is posted on the internet. We have five more cruises booked on SS for the future. My only thought is to think about the newer larger ships, but that is just me.
  11. Thank you. We are looking forward to two nights pre-cruise.
  12. Any thoughts on your stay there?
  13. The SS hotel for us in August is now showing as the Molino Stucky. Has anybody stayed there before? Thx.
  14. In the future you might consider using an experienced travel agent and not SS consultant.
  15. All restaurants are 7PM except for Silver Note which has an 8PM starting time. I hope this helps.
  16. I only book the cruise when I can lock in the Bus Air.
  17. You may have misread my post- I said that maybe SS screwed up and maybe they didn't. As it turns out, my email to the president of the company got me almost an immediate satisfactory response. My flights are now being changed to a legal connection time through Heathrow. I am very happy with SS Air Desk.
  18. As I recall, in La dame, you are charged the $60 if don't cancel by, I think, the prior day.
  19. Having eaten in La Dame last Nov. and July, we thought the food and ambiance was over the top. The $60 each charge is well worth at least one dinner there. We also ate in the Silver Note which had really good (not great) food but what we enjoyed was the "dinner and a show". We will always eat in both of these restaurants on future cruises.
  20. This may not be of importance to many people, but it is important to us. Because of various commitments, we try to book our cruises two to three years ahead. We always fly Business Air. With inflation, the cost of Bus Air has gone through the roof. On SS, you can book 2 to 3 years in advance and still "lock-in" the cost of Bus Air. On Seabourn, they will not lock-in the cost of Bus Air until 330 days prior to the cruise. That is a deal breaker for us. Aside from that, I like both cruise lines as long as I go on the newer and a little larger ships. Some of the upgrade charges for international Bus Air is almost as much as the cost of the cruise.
  21. All the readers have the same direct pipeline. We all know the presidents email. I don't have 1,000 days with SS, I just passed the 65 day threshold, so I am not anybody special. If I had a special direct pipeline, I would never post this information on a public forum. I posted the info for everybody to know about.
