What do you consider a main ? We never eat 3 meals a day at home and on ship dinner is only an app and a main or sometimes just 2 apps. Why would I want to spend an extra $30 a day per person for ? An app and salad and dessert sounds like a $14.95 casual meal
The desserts are way fancier than anything I have ever seen in a MDR. Same for squid ink pasta etc. The head chef always does an incredible job even better than chefs table or even 360
15 drinks a day somehow seems to work for me. Haven’t had a photo take in at least 15 days excepting for obligatory ones with the captain at MTG. I will save the $60 a day for the 2 of us
Those combos are very boring to me. It is like a big hunk of meat 4 out of 5 days. Not for me. I doubt we will ever sail a sphere class ship and only split our time between Grand and Royal. Our next cruises are on Majestic, Grand, Grand, Majestic , Emerald and Discovery. That takes us up to June 2026
If I am hungry I don’t think I would want to wait 49 minutes for some food. There are lots of places I can walk up and get some food Also super easy to walk up to a bar for a drink
From my conversations on the Grand last month with both future cruise consultant and the captain it is really up to each ship to determine which they want to do
If you are talking about exchanging your elite or suite mini bar just tell your steward they will have room service take care of it for you. We always wait till day 2 because embarkation day can be a little crazy
Is Michelangelo the “traditional “ dining room ? If so there will only be those two dining times for those who want to harken back to the old days with set tables and wait staffs
If you gamble 2+ hours a day consistently on a cruise you should be getting some bounce back offers. Playing just a few days a cruise will not do much. If you play slots it depends on amount played not whether you win or lose. On tables they look at average bet and time played. We usually get 30% to 50% off rack rate for suites. You can also get free interiors and possible free play
I did not check what ports are on that cruise but there are countries you do need a passport for. Also if you have an emergency outside of the US you may need a passport to fly home
