  1. You are correct on the price. If your teenager likes to drink bottled waters , sodas, mocktails or coffee drinks it may be worthwhile to get him plus as well since that includes the WiFi and crew appreciation and all the non alcoholic drinks they want
  2. Salty Dog burgers in Lifo is free. Salty Dog Gastropub is not.
  3. I have no idea what people use those bags for. We have only used them to haul laundry down to the self serve laundry
  4. Reserve dining has nothing to do with loyalty points but is limited to full suites and reserve mini suites. Depending on their perks they may have paid more or less than others
  5. Yea we even ordered FCD on the app while we were on the phone with our CVP who then entered them onto our cruise all in 3 minutes
  6. Suites do get perks. One of them is a convenient dining room. Others are the use of concierges and suite breakfast managers who can get you into specialty dining when the app shows no openings
  7. I tend to agree with you and if this deal had gone on longer it might have had an effect. There have been so many cruises where the cutoff was over 600 days so our 500 plus doesn’t even do anything. It might get someone into a 7 day Alaska cruise where last month people made it with 150 days but it should not affect the normal 16-20 cruises we usually take
  8. If she wants to leave the cruise early you would have to get permission in advance from Princess or you will be subject to a substantial penalty
  9. I don’t see how you could get the original price since you let the final payment date go by. Did you have insurance on the original cruise ?
  10. No matter what name it has the Internet is still dependent on satellites
  11. It will also depend on location there are times when you can’t even get live TV in your cabin
  12. That applies to all time while you are in a Canadian port. It surprised us the first time we encountered it
  13. Please see post #4. It avoids all the arguments the staff at Reserve Dining have to go through. ZI have seen some get very heated and if fact have seen security called
  14. There is never any mandate to eat X amount of courses. We almost never eat desserts in SD dining. App and Main is usually plenty you will not be pressured to order more than you want
  15. MTG lunches or cocktail parties usually take well over 300-400 days to qualify I don’t think a few cruises with double credits is going to move people from Ruby to MTG
  16. As long as they have the Edemedes Zin within the Plus package I am a happy camper
  17. We email all the time and check websites from cabin or anywhere else on ship. I don’t do Facebook so I can speak to that
  18. The reason they have the regular breakfast in a different restaurant from reserve class is that the reserve class is for suites and some mini suites and they do get some preference. In the past the regular breakfast was in the the same MDR as reserve and when people found there was a wait they would try to talk their way into Reserve because they could see open tables. I saw quite a few confrontations and was not surprised when they separated it into 2 different dining rooms
  19. There is a reference on the app and website to pre fixe menus in unlimited premier dining and there is no explanation
  20. Would love to know if people on ships that now have premier unlimited specialty dinners if there are slots open for booking on board
  21. On the Grand last month the pizzeria was very popular and at prime lunch times they were handing out beepers
  22. I have never been in the ships laundry but the must mix them since hundreds of people send out laundry. If you want you can use the self service laundrys that are on most decks with cabins
