  1. It’s been so long since we have been back I would hate to suggest but there are some places at Jack London Square but the is better reached by ferry but your cards work there also
  2. I figure cool in Victoria, who knows SF the warm in LA and SD. Have you thought about bringing your Clipper Card and running home to grab something and check the mail. We actually still have Clipper Cards even though we moved almost six years ago. Several times we have gone from the Embarcadero to Oakland for lunch while docked in SF. Why would I laugh at your clothes ?
  3. My biggest problem on elevators is those who have backpacks (still haven’t figured.out why you need one in the middle of the cruise)$ who keep them on their backs and end up backing into other people. Just take it off your back and hold it in front of you or beside you
  4. As you can see not much room to move around
  5. Those are most of the cruises we do. Occasional 10-11 days but usually 14-20 still pack the same for all The only thing we might add is heavy coats for Alaska
  6. That is a very small amount of elites. We have been on many cruises where there were well over 500 sometimes close to a thousand But good luck for you. Regardless of how long our cruises are we only pack for 7 days
  7. Things may have changed I have not done a gallery tour for about 20 years
  8. Laundry for elites back in one day ? Mi would like to know how large their laundry room is if they have 1,000 elite travelers. One day laundry is a suite perk on Princess. Elite laundry takes 2-3 days depending on amount of elites on board
  9. As an ex catcher it became a habit over the years to wear it backwards. There is also no difference in keeping sun off you while in a dining room. So if it is ok to wear the cap forward at breakfast and lunch why not backwards ?
  10. The bedroom has more space than the living room area once you move the coffee table and make up the sofa bed there is really no room left in the room
  11. Always go through a TA or CVP. The main call in line will not even have a clue how to handle it
  12. That is a pretty typical Crown Grille menu. It used to be more Cajun centric
  13. How scary can you get. I want 3 reservations for different courses. No one gets to get tables
  14. But CNN is not on Princess TV. Your only choices are Fox or MSNBC
  15. Checking in after noon is part of our strategy now as well Depending on boarding times we either have an early lunch or a late breakfast and avoid all the crowds
  16. Last I saw the menu was the same in the Bayou and in Crown Grill. Too bad I really like the oyster appetizer and smothered steak
  17. You should have MSNBC in your stateroom and possibly in a lounge. So you should have live access
  18. It has been over 10 years but there was o small pub with fish and chips and another hotel down the road attached an swimming venue that had great sandwiches
  19. It all depends if you are going over to Europe early. We always go at least 3-5 days early and sometimes the medallions don’t get to us till about 5 business days prior to sailing
  20. Is this cruise from or to Australia ? I just booked a January 16 day cruise and it is charging me $60
  21. That confused me as well at first keep going back and starting the process over if need be. Hint - When you see your home address make sure you tap on it that will trigger the ability to complete the order
  22. Some times a donation sometimes a withdrawal. That’s why it is called gambling. I have never lost more than $2,000 in a single 2 week cruise and have never won more than $2,000 in a single cruise I play slots at no more than $2.50 per spin I spent 10 years sharing an inside because it was I could afford. Once I found balconies I could I enjoyed sitting out there late night and watching the sea roll by. With reserve dining I know I can eat whenever I feel like it with virtually no wait and have a dedicated service team I have found that the Morse crowded the specialty venues get the service goes down. If they are packed to capacity every night I hate to think of the service issues.
  23. You really don’t think we pay full price for our suites do you ? We generally have free balconies or insides and just pay to upgrade
