  1. The main things I use my phone for on a cruise is to check news (the TV on board has no real news stations just opinion stations) and to text my friends on board
  2. Things like menus are available on the TV as well. We really don’t use the app much when on board. The medallion itself takes care of opening the door and paying for drinks or in shops
  3. We use a Princess CVP. She returns emails and calls swiftly, can go directly to customer relations and if we tell her we are looking for a particular itinerary she will call us as soon as the new cruises roll out. Plus she is just a great person
  4. The son appears to have a passport it is the friend that doesn’t. They would not necessarily have travel alone.
  5. Sorry I miss typed you will not have the juice bar on
  6. You should get 4 but I believe you will only be able to do 2 each leg. I am assuming that you have the package on both cruises
  7. You should have the juice bar or fitness classes but you will have Wi-Fi, gratuity and $15 limit on alcohol drinks
  8. I try and change out my masks once a week but we really only use them in public bathrooms and crowded buses unless there is a huge outbreak
  9. CVP’s can also book these but I have never heard of a big box TA being able to do it
  10. That is a sale with OBC. You can booki it simply by calling Princess but the location upgrade will probably what Princess considers a better location within the same level
  11. Is this a casino offer ? We often get offers of free cabins or discounted cabins plus free play in the casino and OBC. If so it can be booked through the casino department lot a CVP. You should also see rates on the website for discounted cabins after you have logged into your account. Also note that casino promotions with free rooms must be paid in full at time of booking
  12. I would much rather eat in the MDR close to other tables with plated dishes than the buffet with people crowded in and sharing serving utensils Just my preference and I have had Covid twice on cruises in the last 8 months. Per my doctor I should be swimming in immunity and in fact they will not give me another booster till after my June cruises
  13. I wil always call it the PLATTER
  14. If it is Covid they should know. All they have to do is test people who have symptoms. I had Covid on The Emerald in March and Alonso on he Royal back in August
  15. There would have to be one that is not in use Maybe they keep one with the extra bucket chairs
  16. I assume you mean FCD. FCC is credits not for deposit. You need to check with your TA or CVP to answer the $100. If you book as 2 7 day cruises you will need 2 deposits not 1
  17. The gratuity on drinks is included with your plus package. The daily charge is it
  18. We only book short cruises if they are part of a back to back so only go for plus. Games from your door do not interest us and we only do Sabatini’s. The crown grill has become too much food for us
  19. Yes but then they would have to bring a portable tub fill it etc. Mini suites are the only cabins that have the tub combo. Not sure what a “better” cabin would be Grand Class full suites have a soaking tub but it is even deeper and costs way more
  20. On our last 5 cruises I’ve the last year the “patter” has been delivered every evening to our stateroom with schedules for the next day
  21. On the ‘Emerald it is not by the piazza but an area next to the wheelhouse bar. Never saw it crowded in March and service was not good
  22. I am a bourbon drinker and I can choose my Manhattan usually from either Makers Mark, Buffalo Trace or Woodford under the Plus package. My wife’s Grey Goose martini also fits under the plus. That works fine for us
  23. You are good to go. I always wear either jeans or casual pants with a short sleeve shirt on casual nights. I wear slacks and long sleeves with sports coat but that is just me you don’t need a coat and for sure you don’t need a tie
  24. Don’t worry. Those people who say they are going to an event are just showing interest. Good spirits bar is just that a bar. It does tend to get more crowded when they are doing presentations but it is still just a bar
