No it people should acknowledge that those of us who have sailed a lot have knowledge. People proclaiming that Suite managers can get privileges suite dining for people who are not in suites are mistaken and have probably gotten the privileges they are speaking of. When you have a large dining table in a suite then you can order room service for whoever is visiting you from the MDR menu. That is very different from brining non suite guests into suite only areas
I have never seen a free slot tournament on Princess. You may some times get a gift booklet that includes a 2 for 1 bet at table games (pay $5 bet worth $10) but that is not normal. Free play is given to those with casino status
No but I can see on my y icon how many emails I have coming in and I have certain people set to give me an alert so I can get important info as soon as possible. That was important 2 years ago when my mother was going downhill and important now to stay connected with the fires that may threaten our houses etc. Yes I stay connected as much at sea as in land
We stay connected on a cruise as email is the only way most of family snd associates can contact us in emergencies and over 60 + cruises there have been many of them that couldn’t really wait till we get to port especially on cruises with 5 or more sea days at a time
Nothing can be described as a money grab if you are willing to pay and feel you got your money’s worth. After 20 years if spending weeks in inside cabins and having to pay ala carte for all drinks. We are now glad to pay for full suites and plus packages. We used to have to budget over $50 a day per person just for drinks when the cost $6 each
It sounds like with those ages the kids probably need WiFi. Unless they are going to drink lots of sodas, mocktails or eat in casual dining a lot. It may be more practical to take one of your WiFi plans and change it to 4 devices. Then unless the kids are going to be throwing lots of drinks just leave them at standard and pay by the drink and pay grats
We are just the opposite. We want to go right to our stateroom so we board after 1:00 after an early lunch on shore and avoid all the crowds. I have never seen a line for check in the afternoon. Do not like lines
After 62 cruises with Princess and the last 20 all in full suites with many personal relationships with Princess officials I believe I know of what I speak. You can text multiple meals from room service to your suite for guests but not take up room in suite dining. I have been through this many times
We have sailed her since 1998 , are on here now and have 2 more cruises in 2025 coming up on her. I have heard this rumor for years Don’t believe everything you hear. She is scheduled through all of 2025 and 2026. “Reports of her demise are greatly exaggerated “
I am on b2b 1 week cruises on the Grand out of Vancouver. However I usually am on 14-21 day cruises and there really isn’t any issue on those. On the Alaska cruises it seems that they all want to eat early. I was h as bing breakfast and a couple were trying to book the Crown and were offered a reservation at 8:00 and said oh no that is way to late. It was explained to them that that was what was available and they got very upset
