  1. We stick with plus. Our preferred cocktails are covered under the plus plan Woodford or Buffalo Trace bourbon, Grey Goose vodka or Captain Morgan rum.
  2. If you have the plus or premier package there is no charge for calling room service
  3. In our experience Pier 27 is not much better. Long lines out of the building early. If we see a line we just go across the street for lunch and then board around 1:30 or so
  4. The price does not change and in my opinion is just way to much food
  5. Not sure what change you are referring to
  6. No it is a casual venue attached to the Wheelhouse bar. Not a specialty restaurant like Crown Grill or Sabatini’s
  7. Haven’t even heard a rumor of this. I would expect a Princess / Hal combine would be more likely since they have a lot more in common
  8. Gastropub is a casual venue plus package holders get 2 meals per cruise additional ones cost $14,95. Specialty coffee is free for people with the plus package. Room service is free for plus but some items may have a surcharge. MDR there are a few entrees you can order for an up charge which is clearly marked on the menu basically they are items like specialty steaks etc
  9. Today my wife’s medallion showed up but not mine I am showing green lane on the app and email confirmation of shipping received but no medallion. I guess we will be in separate lanes
  10. The arancini come automatically usually before you even order. I usually have an app and pasta plus dessert and that is plenty for me. My favorite pastas are the carbonara or the lobster pockets
  11. Our last cruise there in April the check in was downstairs at the CS level of the convention center. We arrived around 2:00 and no lines anywhere. We have seen it down there and up in the exhibit halls seems to depend on how many ships were embarking
  12. Oh I had order confirmation right after ordering but no tracking emails and as of yesterday no medallions
  13. Amen. We are sailing in Reserve July 31 for 2 weeks on the Grand
  14. I had my medallion and was on board with no line. Folks in the blue line reported waits of up to an hour. Hopefully better now with mailing in Canada
  15. My issue is with communication breakdowns. We ordered medallions and got e mail confirmation but no tracking info and the app now shows no medallion order but OR claims it should be delivered no later than today. Not holding my breath. If nothing show by Saturday I will be calling my CVP
  16. We never try to board before 1:30 at any port. In SF we usually go over to Fog City for lunch. When we sail from Vancouver we do the 5 Sails high tea if it a weekend or Fairmont bar for lunch on a week day both are at Canada place
  17. It may be inconsequential now but a few years ago before they started mailing to Canada the blue line in Vancouver was a mile long
  18. No that is a free service but if you call and order a sandwich you will get charged $5
  19. We tell friends who sail on the same cruise as we do that they will have to book at least a reserve class mini to have dinner with us. Breakfast and lunch people pretty much do what they want. Why pay for reserve if you aren’t going to use it ?
  20. Why would you take your suitcases with you ? The shuttle delivers your luggage to your cabin
  21. Then what is the $17 that you referred to having possible service charges
  22. Yes $5 per call. Does not apply to breakfast door hanger order
  23. They want to eat with family who are not reserve who don’t have the ability to eat there
  24. What services charges are spplied to CA !
  25. I am going be eating ship food for several weeks I would rather eat in some of my favorite restaurants on shore and avoid lines at check in
