  1. And if you go to the website and look up suite benefits it will also say reserve dining same with reserve mini suites
  2. Plus club fusion does not have a lot of events after 11:00 unless you are an early to bed person
  3. Well last does doesn’t give any help since I sail in 9 days from Vancouver
  4. No special in fact we wish they wouldn’t even send the lanyard we just throw them away
  5. It has always been the case that when a cruise can be booked as one cruise or two different cabins are available for each option. This is nothing new and has been this way for years
  6. Heck we sail on the 31st leave home the 29th. Two medallions ordered 1 did not get a confirmation of shipping it arrived on the 19th. The one ordered that did get confirmation of shipping but no tracking email has not arrived. Go figure
  7. Your security photo and your personal photo (that is the one that show up at your door when you enter the cabin) are totally different. My personal photo is one of my cat
  8. When you tip a waiter in a restaurant on land you also do not know where that tip is going. Often waiters are tipping out bartenders and bus persons
  9. Eat there as many meals as possible. No wsits, no need to reserve, personal service team and extra entrees
  10. That perk is not supposed it is on the Princess website and has been of effect for years. If there was no reserve dining then people would be screaming for discounts. It is really the only reason to get reserve mini rather than regular mini
  11. Not on Princess. You can find a list of Platinum benefits on the Princess website
  12. There is no change the reserve dining room still exists and is shown as a perk for suites. If you try to make a reservation in a different dining room the system will not allow it
  13. We avoid Royal class ships unless it is an itinerary we really really like. The crowds and noise level in all the venues around the piazza is really unbearable
  14. Have you seen the size of the charcuterie plate at vines and how many truffles you are served. ?
  15. I will be on a Grand class ship with an Alfredo’s in about a week with the plus package and will see
  16. Personally if the plus package only included drinks, WiFi and gratuities it would be still be a huge savings for us
  17. As far as I know the casual meals at Alfredo’s is only the pre fixe menu of appetizer, pizza and dessert I have not seen a veal dish listed as part of the pre fixe
  18. It is actually better on a short cruise since you will only get 2 casual meals per cruise whether it is a 7 day cruise or 7 days. We
  19. Not really but it seems to get to the cabin faster by calling. Just from a few experiences
  20. We have been able to share meals at Vines on several ships and hope to do the same on our Grand cruise starting on the 31st
  21. Downtown SF and OAK are great in the daytime not so great after dark. And this is speaking as a person born and raised in the area. Moved out of state 5 years ago and when I come back to visit I don’t wander around much on foot late night
  22. Thank happens all the time. Chill time
  23. They offer different cabins for the full cruise and the legs. We usually book the separate legs to increase plus perks as long as we can get the same cbin for both legs
  24. I am also a gym rat but find classes boring and would rather use my personal workouts. Princess gyms have always had plenty of equipment for me. I just can’t get my arms around an extra $560 for a couple of 2 specialty dinners and a few wines that I can still get by paying a few extra dollars
  25. I do my own gym workout like I do it at home, the desserts are disgusting, I don’t go to hardly and shows and if I do I sit in the back so I can slip out if I don’t like the show, haven’t taken any photos in my last 30 cruises, my cocktail preferences are all covered under plus package, I only use casual dining on sea days if at all. At $20 per day per person on a 24 day cruise that is $560 for us. No thsnks
