We have a new issue We have 2 orders one for each of us. We sail on the 31st. One medallion show as in process so it is on its way. The 2nd one shows not yet shipped. I have called and Ocean Ready they says it should be delivered by the 19th. They can’t explain why it show as not shipped. I will have to call again tomorrow
We have traveled on a few Royal class ships and one of our complaints is the deafening sound level in the piazza and with so many venues open to it just really hard to even carry on a conversation. We now only cruise Royal class if it is a must do itinerary
Agree about getting rid of the tubs. They are a big danger zone for anyone over 50. When we bought our condo 5 years ago we converted the tub to a shower
We mostly sail Grand class. I have no idea why someone would think the closet is wasted space you need to hang up your clothes somewhere. We have been sailing Princess since 1990 and the loyalty benefits let us get our lady done on long cruises, the mini bar means we can have something in our cabin without having to wait for room service or. Ocean Now and we get most of our news through the internet
In March we sailed from Vancouver. Just went to the convention center and took the elevator down to the CS level and followed the walkway to check in. Both the Fairborn and the Pan Pacific offer the luggage service There is a required tip at the Pan of $5 per bag. We generally tip $20 for 3 bags. We call down in the morning they pick up the bags and they show up in our cabin. We usually wait to check in till 1:30 or so to avoid lines
We always paid for our cruises from our work wages. We cruised for 33 years before we retired. Heck I retired after they cut back my vacation benefits to give them to the younger workers who were already making $60K
I don’t know how much more relaxed you would want a dress code to go. We show up in jeans and short sleeve shirts every night. Are you saying they should allow thongs etc.
That is why there are different cruise lines. Those who want climbing walls, go car tracks, water parks etc go with lines like RCL. Those who love Disney World go on Disney cruises. Those of us who like a more sedate and relaxed atmosphere go wit Princess. Each to their own
I don’t of any popular singer these days who don’t have some suggestive lyrics. Unless the kids are under 10 I am sure they have heard these things before
I have never seen anything remotely raunchy in any entertainment on any of my 60 cruises with Princess. Aside from some cruise directors who try a little to hard I cannot call anything about Princess to be hip
Hate to disagree but Vines is only valuable if you want $20 glasses of wine. For cocktail drinkers like us the plus is perfect. I have always found some glasses at Vines within or close to $15
