  1. That is why I said call the embassy, there are always exceptions to the rule.
  2. You should call the embassy however if you apply for your visa with the date of arrival in Chile, then you should be covered.
  3. That could be a new port wine from Margaret River?
  4. If you have a drinks package, there is always something to do, even if it is people watching.
  5. Looks like Xmas day may be wet for all the east coast Capitals.
  6. I would think it is demand and economic thinking in where cruise ships sail. While I do think a ship or two would work for our winter, I am not sure it would be more profitable than elsewhere and or that they could have more than a couple ships (various cruise lines). Once (if) Lelepa Island is up and running, RCI may venture a ship here year round, but who knows.
  7. Just as cruising isn't for everyone, long cruises are not for all cruisers.
  8. Welcome to Cruise Critic. I think you may need a visa, I have quickly done a dummy visa check , see attached.
  9. We enjoy reading books, doing puzzle books/ magazines, watching movies, etc apart from any ship activities that may be of interest.
  10. Actually it is the Evergreen Cascades, Mele Maat, Vanuatu
  11. Europe tends to be much more relaxed than other ports.
  12. Be very wary of CC insurance as it can be very tricky, some have a minimal spend on each item of travel I.e. $250 on flights, another on hotel, another on the cruise not just on the whole trip.
  13. I am sure Cairns and surrounds will bounce back soon.
  14. Where are you planning to go, as it does depend. George St would be fine for most cases like the airport or such, however if wanting to just get to the cbd, the tram or train may suffice
