  1. @Luckynana Maryann, I couldn't have said it better than Greg. However, I would like to add; May wonderful memories of your beloved dad constantly be with you.
  2. As someone who doesn't frequent that other fb site often, I'm also glad Laura posts in here.
  3. Seriously? Not once a day like we've been getting? Thanks for all the info, good and bad.
  4. Jennifer, let me add my condolences on the loss of your dear, beloved father. I know sweet memories will help sustain you.
  5. Additional Key West thoughts: We had a Key West port stop on a Rhapsody cruise approx. 18 years ago. We did the trolley tour, had a margarita and burger in Margaritaville AND frozen chocolate covered key lime pie. Worth all the hype. We wandered into a perfume shop on Duval St. and it turned out the owners came from Jack's home town in Israel and knew some of the same people. They chatted for it seemed hours and the owner and his wife were disappointed when we had to return to the ship and turn down their dinner invitation. We were gifted with free bottles of perfume. Can't remember which ones. Good memories!
  6. Yay, you're back! Graham, delicious spread and you're looking wonderful. I agree with @Sea Dog Greg. That red velvet cake looks super yummy and a very generous slice it is!
  7. No matter how much you won, no matter how much you lost, thanks for taking us along to share your adventures. Have safe travels back home.
  8. She gets to write the song after you break her heart. She might name her next world tour "OB Tour". I have no idea what I'm saying. 🙄
  9. My friend took that same cruise many years ago out of NY. She too said it was the best cruise for the same reasons you gave. My first RCI cruise was on Majesty which I thought was HUGE but then approx 30 years ago it was!
  10. Graham, nobody should have to live with the pain you're dealing with. I hope you can find relief soon. BTW, your avatar reminds me of a grape tootsie pop!
  11. I was thinking the same regarding the kids hallway nasty shenanigans.
  12. Safe travels to John with hopes for an easy re-entry onto the ship. And, how are you doing? I googled the #1 airport. Part of Doha Hamad reminds me of Central Park on O class ships.
  13. Maryann, I cannot thank you enough for your very thoughtful post. I'm so grateful to call you friend. And, yes, the seder was great and meaningful. Pure joy. AND speaking of joy....... @dani negreanu Dani, I'm so glad this will be a Pesach Sameach. A Happy Passover with your lovely family. I can only imagine those first hugs when they arrived. Enjoy every moment in peace. I bet your DH cooked up a storm, maybe both of you did!
  14. Echoing Lenny's post. For those celebrating, have a meaningful Passover. Tonight starts Passover; mainly no bread, pasta, pastries of any kind that contain flour. This is a very emotional holiday for me personally. Tomorrow marks the anniversary of my mom's passing. Each year at this time, I use her huge Passover pot to make chicken soup. As the soup simmers, I tear up thinking of wonderful memories. Tonight our family (11 of us) gather for our special "seder" holiday meal. We go around the table and each of us tells mostly funny stories about mom. Hoping your memories are as happy as mine!
  15. Jane, please don't beat yourself up. From reading your posts, you were an exemplary daughter to both your parents.
  16. I'm in! Looking forward to your sharing wonderful experiences with us.
