Eddy's Pizza Restaurant in Plano on 15th St., near Custer is a favorite but haven't been there in quite a while. Katz's deli in NY ships! My friend surprised me with a pastrami lunch. Sublime, although I prefer my pastrami more thinly cut.

I find bagels dense also and I learned years ago in NY to gut the inside. Cuts down on sodium and calories.

I stand by my previous post. Food is subjective no matter who likes it or doesn't. Sorry, folks. I promise this will be my last Sorrentos post.

I can recall every single M*A*S*H episode in my sleep. You can view the last episode on you tube. Such a wonderful blend of humor and compassion. The last episode shown on TV was "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen. The last show actually filmed was The Time Capsule. I had the pleasure of speaking with Loretta Swit (hot lips) on the phone when she appeared at a trade show where Jack was exhibiting. Jack saw her, called me and asked her if she could say a few words to me. She was kind, gracious and said the cast was truly a family. However, before she took the phone from Jack, she asked "who the he!! (Ls) are you? 🤣 I've learned that rolling knit like material and placing plastic between folded articles of clothing cuts down on wrinkles, plus I always pack a can of Wrinkle Guard and Tide "pen" to remove stains. My most important item is my comfy down pillow. It goes with me wherever I sleep.

@Jimbo I made your Pasta Fagioli soup. It was a hit with both me and Jack. I can see why you had to transfer double ingredients to a large pot. I have quite a bit left over so glad I halved the recipe. Just made a salad to go with it and it was a perfect dinner for two not so terribly hungry people. AND, hardly any clean-up using slow cooker liners.

I might agree but I think the Queen's funeral will be watched more globally. JFK's funeral was not as globally watched. I always wondered what Jackie did to keep her young children so quiet while standing such a long time next to her. John John was only 3.

I thought about his uniform as well. I agree You're right. He served twice in afghanistan. I guess it's up to the King and/or Prince of Wales to determine dress protocol.

Add me to the list of picture takers. I read yesterday that the line of people waiting to pay their respects is approx. 3 miles long! Jack came to Israel from Poland when he was 2. He doesn't know how to swim and majority of my friends Israeli husbands don't either. That is way weird. So sorry he got ill on your cruise. Sounds like you didn't get the proper response from RCI you were entitled to.

Quite a few months ago. I only posted it on the Oasis thread. We're glad also! I want to make it in the crockpot which has limited space and clean up is a breeze with crock pot liners. Thank you!

We re-booked the Bella cruise in March that we previously cancelled. I posted the good news on our roll call but not sure how many in here visit that thread. I'm so anxious to meet everyone!! Jack is even getting "cruise fever"!

4 qts is a bit much but cutting it in half will cut the pasta to only 4 oz. I think I'll put in less crushed tomatoes and broth. If it looks like it needs more liquid, I'll add as needed. I like to idea of using a slow cooker. I don't know the size, but it seems substantial. I especially love the liners which make clean up so easy. I can't wait to make this soup. It's got all the ingredients I will use, except for the tabasco. 😏 Recipe is printed out and ready for my upcoming shopping trip.

How many bowls does it make? One day, I left the house for work on our anniversary with Jack never mentioning it. I called him when I got to work. We chatted for a few minutes and yup...he still forgot. So as we said our goodbyes, I said 'oh by the way HAPPY ANNIVERSARY and hung up. I was a meany for 10 minutes not answering the phone the multiple times he tried calling me back. Have wonderful cruises from me to!
