  1. It's directly proportional to the number of times someone ask a question that is the first response one receives when they search for the answer on Google.
  2. Oh I am so hopeful this will be our case. We are doing the Panama Canal Transit in April/May and the idea of sitting on our balcony while sipping cold adult refreshments is very appealing. We usually do not care for room service breakfast. I've yet to get a decent cup of coffee via room service. I have even gone to the point of brining a container of instant coffee and having that in the room. Maybe on this trip we will revisit room service for breakfast. We do sometimes have lunch on our balcony on port days since Luminae is closed.
  3. Google is your friend -- Royal Caribbean Shareholder Benefit https://www.rclinvestor.com/contact-us/faqs/shareholder-benefit/
  4. That is news to me. Thanks for pointing that out. I would be real interested to find out what guest sailing in the Retreat, especially Sky or Celebrity Suites, experience in this regard.
  5. Where did you see this? We've never asked our butler to bring us drinks to the room, unless ordering food as well. On our last cruise we had lunch on our balcony after returning from a short stay ashore. We had run into our butler in the hallway and while talking with him informed him we had just returned and were going to go find something for lunch. He offered up some sandwiches, fries, and tea/lemonade and we took him up on it. If I want a drink, other than wine, water, or soda in the room, I either go to the closest bar and get it or grab a Tito's and some soda from the mini-fridge and make my own. I know butlers would be more than happy to get drinks and bring them to us but I believe they have other duties that would be a better use of their time.
  6. Maybe the 1st or 2nd Wednesday in January -- Don't they only do one a month?
  7. To me it is not a full breakfast if hot food, e.g. eggs cooked to order, omelets, bacon, sausage, ham, grits, etc. are not offered.
  8. I just used Chrome and Safari and had no problem logging in with either.
  9. Reading this with interest as we will be on Millennium for the Panama Canal Transit in April - May and she appears to be fully booked. Hopefully the staff will have adjusted to being at or near capacity by the time we sail.
  10. I could be wrong but I believe dates/times do not show until you select to book it. You can still cancel before being charged so you may want to check and see.
  11. Do they still server Mimosa's and Bellini's ? How about afternoon tea? We attended a couple of those but have not seen/heard of them outside of the Retreat/Michael's Lounge lately.
  12. We are looking forward to our first time doing this on Harmony in February. We just crossed the 340 and 350 mark on our last cruise in September. We are in the exception to this category. We cruise between one and three times a year and split cruises between Royal Caribbean and Celebrity.
  13. Do they still have the BOGO for Johnny Rocket Shakes for Diamond/Diamond +
  14. Yes, as you and your husband have different portfolio numbers. If you log into his Celebrity account and go to his Cruise planner you will see his information.
  15. Did you mean terminal 29? All the way at the end? Terminal 25 is the Terminal that was built for the Edge Class of ships and is amazing. Boarding and debarking there is a pleasure. Terminal 29 is one of the older terminals and I agree with you assessment. We boarded, did a turn around, and departed out of terminal 29 on Reflection last year. Upon embarkation we went the suite line for security screening and were taken to a small curtained off area which had metal chairs and a few drinks/snacks set up. We were not there very long but it was better than where they had us located for the B2B turn around. Thankfully we did not spend much time in either location. Our paperwork was checked and we were asked to wait a couple of minutes. I saw a few employee's checking their clipboards which had pictures of the guest sailing in the higher suites. After about 3 - 5 minutes we were told we could proceed on the ship and off we went.
  16. Not having any issues at all logging in.
  17. We've been skipping the Elite Breakfast event and getting our morning drinks in Luminae.
  18. @PineappleTraveler I neglected to comment on the Mixology 101. I also signed up for this on my Silhouette sailing and found it a lot of fun. For ours it was held at the World Class bar and the same bartender that hosted the McCallan tasting along with one of the regular World Class Bar bartenders were the host. Each person was taken through four different styles of cocktails and the differences in stirring, shaking, mulling, and mixing were demonstrated and we each got to make our own drink using each of these methods. It was fun and informative. Unlike @jelayne we did not have any difficulty with the time and location for our event. Then again we talked with the bartender that was in charge of it every day at the Ensemble lounge. He even chose my favorite drink that he made as one of the four for the Mixology event - Spicy Rum Old Fashioned. I am trying to remember but I think the event was saved to my cruise calendar when I booked it and therefore was available in the app on my iPhone.
  19. Thanks @LB_NJ and @Pipo I guess because I've never done any non-alcohol package on Celebrity I did not play close enough attention. I know that we both go through a lot of bottled water as well as bottles of smart water onboard ships along with the occasional diet soda. Those along with the mixed drinks, neat rum/bourbon, and wine make a package worth the expense to me.
  20. Do not disagree, especially if you drink Alcohol but for those that do not having all those non-alcoholic choices may seem to be a good deal over getting two packages like they would have before they were combined.
  21. Our son gave me a Fire Stick 4K for Christmas. I set it up last night with my GL.Inet 750M travel router I have had for years and streamed Amazon Prime shows to my TV in the basement. Works like a charm. Plan to use it a lot on my next couple of cruises. p.s. Because of the unknown regarding proximity of power outlets, I used a power bank and got 4 hours of play.
  22. The suite life on Celebrity is so much better than it is on Royal Caribbean for those that are not in Star Class. I think you will find suite life on Edge to be a very pleasurable and unique experience. The one thing I do prefer about Royal Caribbean Oasis and Quantum class suite life over Celebrity's is that the suite restaurant Coastal Kitchen is open on port days for lunch. On Celebrity Luminate is not open on port days. However, if you have a port where you are going to stay aboard and relax, I highly recommend you arrange with your butler for lunch in your suite or visit the Suite Sun Deck and have lunch there. We really enjoyed lunch on the Suite Sundeck on Edge.
  23. I guess my optimistic side is showing. I do not see this as much as 'getting rid of the soda package' but rather an expansion of the soda package to include other non-alcoholic beverages. With the old multiple packages there was a lot of confusion about what was included with which package and I saw more than one passenger get upset with a crew member when they thought something should have been included in their beverage package but was not, e.g. premium bottle waters with soda package. To me, I see this expanded package as making it a lot clearer to passengers as to what is and is not included in the package they purchased.
