Got a couple of sun beds drinks included. Toilet facilities available. San Juan - docked close to town centre. Walked(wheelchair) up to the castle and then cdd and me back through the town. Pavements are not the best but we managed ok. Antigua - picked up a taxi at the port and did a tour of the Island. Lots of taxis available Michelle
  2. St Martaan - we walked(wheelchair)through the port area, lots of tourist shops bars and on the road/pavement into the town. Lots of shops and bars and a beach directly in front of the shops on a paved walkway. Aruba - in the morning walked(wheelchair)into the town, had a look around some nice shops. In the afternoon we took a taxi to Palm Beach. There were wooden walkways on the beach, they found sun beds for us directly next to the walkway Michelle
  3. Cozumel - was there in 2017, no tender which was good. We got a taxi to Nachi Cocom a private beach resort with also a pool area and lunch was included in the price. I had a collapsible wheelchair with me and I remember was using it around the resort. There are also quite a number of shops around Cozumel port area Michelle
  4. I am going to look into this as I have MS too. Staysure quoted me an extra £290 to upgrade from Europe to Worldwide cover up to April next year Michelle
  5. Sorry to hear this Josy, hope your symptoms are mild and that you recover quickly Michelle
  6. We didn’t tender in Cozumel or Jamaica. Only been to both ports once so had no idea what to do at either port. Reading recommendations from our roll call thread on CC we went to Nachi Cocom Beach Resort in Cozumel which was fabulous and accessible as I remember for me in a wheelchair. We went rafting down the Martha Brae River in Jamaica which requires you to step onto the raft to sit down but they did help you. Hope you have a fabulous time Michelle
  7. We have to pay for our garden waste removal, I think it’s about £60 per year for each bin you have. Once you have paid they send you a sticker to put on your bin to say it’s all paid for and they will empty it then. Michelle
  8. Gosh that’s early for gardens to be decked out for Halloween. I can’t believe we are getting towards the back end of the year already, it doesn’t seem two minutes since I was buying daffodils in the Spring Michelle
  9. Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all ok today. It’s a lovely sunny day here today but a bit chilly. Hubby said it was only 6.5 degrees when he left for work this morning about 7am. I have just been shopping with my mum this morning to Booths and their Christmas food book was out. Guess I will be browsing through this afternoon and deciding what to order.
  10. It sounds like a busy day Josy. I hope your niece is ok and home soon Michelle
  11. Hope your dad does too Sarah. We are both cough, cough, cough all the time which is not great when hubby is on a call at work Michelle
  12. We got off Anthem five weeks ago and def have had something but tests say negative. I ended up on antibiotics last week and my husband has just telephoned Drs this morning but no appointments available so ring again tomorrow or go to walk in centre in Blackpool. Michelle
  13. That sounds truly awful Eglesbrech, I cannot even begin to imagine what it must have been like for them. I hope there is no more rain forecast for them anytime soon. Take care all you people who have been affected by this Michelle
  14. It just sounds awful for all the people affected Michelle
  15. Afternoon everyone, hope you are all ok today and for those in Scotland I hope the worst of the weather has passed over. It is a lovely day here today, I am currently sat out on the patio, unheard of for October. We have been out for a walk on the beach/seafront this morning with the dogs and called for breakfast at one of our favourite cafes, got eggs Benedict and eggs florentine plus a sausage for the dogs. Just about to go collect my mum as she is coming for tea. Have a nice afternoon everyone Michelle
  16. We cruised on Azura for the first time in Feb this year, just a week for a bit of Winter sun. I didn’t find it the easiest of ships to navigate but I did like the ship. We ate in the Oriental for breakfast every day which was brilliant. We also ate in Epicurean which was fabulous, Sindu which was good and Glass House which was good. Food in MDR on an evening was good too, no complaints. Hope you have a fabulous time Michelle
  17. It’s dull and dismal here today too and has just been raining heavily. Hope you have a lovely time in Sicily Pam, I am sure it will be nice and warm when you step off the plane. I just love that feeling, it just smells different to me. It’s ladies coffee morning for me this morning at St Annes Tennis Club, they are a great bunch of ladies. It was set up for people to meet new friends, most of us are people who have moved into the area. Hubby is off to Man United tonight, that is def not my thing!!! Have a good day everyone Michelle
