  1. This may not be as high as you need but, we have step stools quite similar to this. They are super simple to fold/unfold and to store flat. There are others of different sizes available at all different prices. https://www.amazon.com/Utopia-Home-Folding-Step-Stool/dp/B0B71ZJ2CH/ref=asc_df_B0B71ZJ2CH?tag=bngsmtphsnus-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80470663307006&hvnetw=s&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584070163997620&th=1
  2. @gmbhardy That has been our experience.
  3. If you book NCL Shore Excursion(s) pre-cruise, you must pay for it at the time of booking!
  4. Thank you for pointing that out! I thought that I have been something incorrectly, which has been keeping me from seeing information that I used to be able to see in other's posts!
  5. It really is a shame that you didn't actually end-up in a room you thought you would be in. Hopefully, things start looking much better for you very soon!
  6. Sadly, that room is not really big enough for more than four people, because, most of the sf is utilized in the Master BR and bath! Also, the balcony is not very large, therefore, truly not good for al fresco gathering.
  7. You do get a few extra perks... Club Balcony Suites provide additional amenities and privileges at no additional cost. Amenities include the option to pre-book onboard entertainment as early as 21 days and dining as early as 125 days prior to sail date, complimentary treats delivered to your stateroom, a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, and a choice of one valet laundry or pressing service.
  8. Should be listed on your Cruise Documents. Here are the driving directions from NCL.com... https://www.ncl.com/getting-to-the-pier/driving-directions#!#sanjuan
  9. The difference between, plus 20%. So, a $18.00 drink would cost $3.60 extra.
  10. Looks like I need reading comprehension and more coffee! 😂
  11. I noticed that you seem to be new to Cruise Critic. In case you don't know where to find your Roll Call, below is the link (click on it to open).
  12. Were you trying to start a Roll Call? This one already exists, if you are interested:
  13. Haven can book restaurants at 130 days prior to cruise!
  14. Yes, ShorEx credit and your Latitudes discount... ($69-$50) -10%.
  15. (straight from NCL... currently showing!) CNC ($250 each) and CNHC ($500 each) are valid for sailings of three (3) days or longer. A CNC can be applied as the full deposit for a stateroom up to a Club Balcony Suite or can be applied as partial deposit payment towards a higher stateroom category. A CNHC can be applied as the full deposit for any one stateroom. CNC and CNHC are not available for use on Sixthman sailings.
  16. n Nassau, I’m just taking this little harbor cruise excursion. Wanted something short so I could still walk around a little. It’s $69, so it was only $19 after my ShoreX credit. (They charged me $17 so 🤷🏻‍♂️) Latitudes discount !?!
  17. @aggie182 Has your wife asked any bartender to make the drink(s) that she does like? I mix-up my beverages daily, so, quite often I ask for different combinations than what is on NCL menus. If they have the alcohol, the fruit and/or juice, and the mixer, it can be done!!! If it is PREMIUM liquor, or many combinations, they might charge extra. If she can tell them what she wants, they will likely be willing and able to make her smile. Wines, maybe, not so much! My best wishes for you and your family!!!
  18. Water temperatures and visual clarity depend on the weather and temperatures during that week. Could be good or lousy from week to week. Snorkeling in Cozumel and Costa Maya are more reliable opportunities!
  19. If you will be at the beach most days, above seems like an easy way for you to pack!
  20. Shore Excursions could appear immediately, or not for many months. Check semi-regularly! Restaurant reservations become available at 120 prior to sail date for most. Suites and Haven 130 days prior, upper tier Latitude and Club Balcony Suites may book at 125 days prior.
  21. I've noted that same thing! It seems that their website has many ridiculous errors. But, who would pay that much for the half-sheet cake?!
  22. Straight from NCL.com: https://www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/liquor-beverages Wine & Champagne Policy Guests may bring bottles of wine and champagne on board. When bottles are brought on board and served or consumed in any restaurant, public room area or in their stateroom, a corkage fee will be charged according to bottle sizes noted below. 750 ml Bottle: $15.00 USD 1,500 ml Magnum: $30.00 USD Wine or champagne sent directly to the ship by travel agents, friends, family, etc. or from another retail source, are subject to the same fees. Box wines are not allowed on board. Corkage Fee is not applicable to guest with beverage package.
  23. NCL is mostly quite casual. There are no dress-up nights per-se! You are free to "dress-up" (or not) as you please. However, Le Bistro and the larger main restaurants do require a little more care in attire. Men are required to wear slacks and collared shirt, while women tend to wear nicer tops and skirts, slacks, or dresses. Some people dress formally on occasion! Restaurant reservations become available to book on NCL at 120 days (or earlier in some cases). When reservations open for your category, you can select your times that are available on NCL at that time. If you wish to try to change times/date/restaurant, you can do that onboard ASAP. Popular times get filled-up very quickly!
  24. Indulge (Jan 2024) was open usually 12-2 pm, but there were some alternate times, so be sure to check your Freestyle Daily, or the schedule boards (near stairwells) onboard the ship.
