I agree that many don't bother. I like to check them when we are about to make a new reservation, since NCL likes to change some of their things (like pricing and/or "included items") somewhat often.

Yup, lots of changes in the past year! They changed the rules quickly when they released their lost revenues!

Unfortunately, this information is not correct: Clamshells are considered "equipment"! Please see additional restrictions below: If the first guest purchases shore excursions tickets for other guests, the promotion and $50 Shore Excursion Credit will not apply to such tickets. The first guest cannot purchase shore excursions for themselves where the duration of such excursions overlap in time. For port calls in Great Stirrup Cay and Harvest Caye, the promotion and $50 Shore Excursion Credit does not apply to equipment rentals. Pre-cruise and post-cruise land tours are not eligible for this promotion. $50 Shore Excursion Credit has no monetary value, are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for actual currency of any value. Other guest in the stateroom are not eligible to receive the promotion or $50 Shore Excursion Credits. Private and/or Custom shore excursions are not eligible for this promotion. We love aft rooms. However, some people will not like the "long walk" aft. Some will not like the extra motion that might take place when seas are rough. There can be lots of noise created anchoring (or docking) at port stops. Also, we won't book any room that is directly under the pool deck, due to noise levels from above.

I hate it when I make those all-too-easy-to do typos (and don't catch it in time)!

Simply playing "devil's advocate," but, could you possibly have multiple account #'s and your certificates exist elsewhere for some unknown reason? Might be a question to pursue...

It is quite likely that you needed to make the typically "Pay" restaurants first, then the others. Simply pick the dates and times you want to eat, and book those with a fee as the first two in the system (any day you desire)! Adding: you can call, or chat, with an agent to get the reservations fixed!

I would not recommend just showing-up, unless it is later in the day, after most people have gotten off the ship already.

I had to look at a Freestyle Daily from a previous cruise, since we don't require Tender Tickets due to our status, Suites/Haven, or, having booked our Shore Excursions with NCL). You may want to check the Freestyle Daily on your cruise for something that looks like this: "You may choose a tender by using any Digital Touch Screen (located near deck/elevator landings. Your Freestyle Key Card will serve as your ticket. Please wait in public lounges until your tender group number is announced over the PA system." (more verbiage follows, but the above gives you an idea of what you are likely to read)

Regarding Great Stirrup Cay... It is a tender stop, so be certain to obtain your tender ticket if you do not book an excursion (or if in the Haven). NOTE: sometimes they have to terminate the stop if there is rough weather/winds/water. If you like snorkeling, they have their own designed area:
