  1. Don't know where you are looking but I find about 714 dollar offer for Feb 2024 to nassau
  2. Biggest, newest ships in the fleet cannot allow for drinks? Sounds like a bad design to me.
  3. I understand it happens and I am guilty too. Now we can go back to everyone's champagne taste hopes with Carnival's current beer budget 🤣
  4. Is this thread still about the Pride drydock? Asking for a friend.
  5. That is a scary thought for me. What if they are stolen or misdelivered? Would Allstate make it right? Our mail doesn't come for days at a time occasionally and i get pictures on informed delivery that never show up. I can't do physical cards any more!
  6. Carnival is like a box of chocolate............... you never know what your gonna get.
  7. No big deal. I haven't been on the Pride since 2007 and didn't know if something was altered. The comedy area is great on the Spirit class ships.
  8. Carnival's version of a sale...............trick people into thinking they are getting a price they aren't supposed to be. It has been like this for quite a few days.
  9. I think you are correct. Butterflies Lounge is below the main showroom and is where comedy is.
  10. Carnival won't ask for any permission to take the friend, but you should have approval for medical decisions in the event of an emergency.
  11. Rear theater? I don't recall that on the Spirit class ships.
  12. DId you try the Cucina del Capitano for lunch? We did it once and it was constant thunder from the basketball court above us. Good lunch though.
  13. After one more cruise in January the Cabo first is gone for the 7 day cruises.
  14. Unfortunately after a January cruise there doesn't appear to be any more Cabo first trips. Not optimal for a night owl who likes to drink like me 🤣
  15. Does anyone know why Carnival has changed the order of the ports for Mexican Riviera? I went 3 weeks ago on the Panorama and Cabo was first from 10 am to 7 pm. Much better than my next one in Sept 2023 which is 6:30am to 2:30pm as the last stop. Can hardly enjoy Cabo Wabo when the ship leaves so early. My guess would be it allows fuel savings for Carnival going down at a slower pace.
  16. A much better proposition is the 10 percent off gift cards from AARP or Allstate rewards. You can do any amount and it is refundable if you don't use it all plus 10 percent off does add up. Just add them at a sail and sign kiosk and you are good to go.
  17. I just applied a couple days ago for two cruises and for the first time ever it was applied in less than a day! My usual wait time is about a month or a bit more.
  18. Good to note. Unfortunately Allstate has nothing right now in gift cards that I can use. I am not into buying physical gift cards any more. No Carnival offerings at all. That 5 year AARP membership is worth its weight in gold right now!
  19. I guess that means you don't need the scooter any more? 😉
  20. Carnival will be making boatloads of money even if you max out everyday. Cheers for a week without tip is $419.65 and Carnival's cost will be under $100 with their massive purchasing power. On top of all this a high percentage of people won't come close to maxing out everyday. This is a big win for Carnival and they and shareholders(many of us out here) thank the cheers purchasers! I bought stock when it was heading up last year, so I have quite a ways to go to break even. So if cheers makes you happy, then drink up for me 😄 . Each to their own, it's all good.
  21. I bought a toothbrush and floss in the funshops, no tip added and no tip line to add one on the Panorama. Same for the cigarettes I bought my aunt. The Panorama did not have any pricing up in the liquor and smokes area so people had to constantly ask for prices, which is kind of inconvenient to the employee and customer.
  22. Just went on the Panorama three weeks ago but we did the order of Cabo, Mazatlan, then Puerto Vallarta. I don't know why they now have changed the port order, but it really leaves an odd time at Cabo from 6:30 am (?) to 3 pm. We were there from 10 am to 6 pm which is much more palatable for me. Good cruise overall, a bit more crowded than my customary spirit class cruise.
  23. Here is a better idea. If you are an AARP member go buy their Carnival 10 percent off gift cards and apply them to your sail and sign account after you board. You will save money on your purchases and if you don't use it all you will get a refund sent you in new gift cards.
  24. If i need a restroom location onboard I shall contact you! 😄
