Sounds like get away day in the major leagues,when all the teams just want to get to the next city to start a new series.

Here are some pictures from this morning out in the garden. Picked these tomatoes ,zuchinni and this one ear of corn to see how close to picking I am. I think about another 10 days before the corn is ready. I planted a row of zinnias up against the fence along side the zuchinni so we can see the flowers reL good from the house.. Once the zuchinni is done I will pull those out and there will be a nice row to wk in before the pepper plant row. Planted sunflowers along the fence on both ends of the garden.. But the sunflowers I like the best are these one with one center stalk coming up and lots of shoots of sunflowers coming off of it. These came up on their own from seeds in the garden from last year,wish I could remember the names of them because they are so nice.Would like to plant them again next year if I knew the names of them I planted these low ones this year,look like snowballs

How did you get the Filet cooked?

When you throw in an ice cube, how long does it take to melt? 90 degree water isn't really that refreshing is it? We have our hot tub set on 99 degrees. Which is nice for our cooler evenings.

Cool ! I assume that is on Jewel this year right? We only have 2 excursions booked for the 3 ports in Greenland. Nuuk............... the Fiord Safari Boat Tour Qaqortoq.... the Town Walk Nanortalik..........we are just going to walk around on our own.

Total time on a Train from East Coast is probably around 75 hours, so pretty much 3 days each way for a total of 6 days. Think I would still opt for the plane flights over that.

There isn't any large cruise ships that do Alaska Cruises in the Winter.

To make our Alaska cruise worth while. We did a B2B cruise. Started in San Diego, A Pacific Coastal cruise followed by the Alaska Cruise from Vancouver It was San Diego to Vancouver, 12 night cruise, then a 7 day cruise RT from Vancouver. Then we rented a car and drove to the Portland, Oregon area and toured around there for 3 days and then flew home from Oregon. All of it was well worth the plane rides from Philadelphia to San Diego and from Portland to Philadelphia. Is there any chance you can extend your vacation in anyway to do more then 1 cruise.

Sounds to me like the real you is coming out here, you just need drinking buddies to confirm.🤣

Just FYI, for the Jewel on the 14th of September, earliest check in time was 12 noon, so don't really know how that effects passengers getting off the TA. Just something to be aware of, have a backup plan in place incase you miss your flight.
