    We have some friends that just got off a SS cruise, they said the dress code was relaxed during the cruise. (Men not in jackets)(Women in jump type suits or pants with not so formal tops). Just stating a fact———-And they enjoyed the cruise.

    That’s your opinion (and that’s OK), but if a person wants to give that’s OK too. You know when I was working and got stock options and by bonuses- should I have said “Oh I don’t need that just give me a card-that will do…………

    Still think if you really get great service-why not give extra to the person that gave that service making your vacation better. Remember if you have a Butler they manage your trip—-anything think that goes wrong, no matter how small or big they fix it. Having a special party in your suite, or dinner a few more times than normal—why not give extra.

    One can only hope. Entertained isn’t the reason we cruise, but it would be nice to have something much, much better.

    Nice reading your report, I agree about supplies- doesn’t make sense they don’t know how to order, they have been doing this for years. I realize supply is a problem, but if you can purchase it at retial you can it it wholesale. Nice report, thank you for posting.

    Couldn’t agree more——if someone wants to dress (formal) who cares—and if someone doesn’t, who cares. You’re on a cruise to enjoy, so enjoy no matter what you wear at dinner (within reason).

    I never said anything about that, I agree 100% nicely is good and it should be that way. If someone is dressed as you say nicely - at a different table, why shouldI care, it’s not going to make my dining experience any different.

    It’s going to be all about revenue for SS—that will make or brake the rule—not a few people.

    Sounds good, but if you want them to enforce the dress code, SS should enforce all rules. Youcan’t pick and choose which rules to enforce.

    We did this once on another line. We didn’t want things to go wrong. They handled hanging items any draws/safe we just packed in are suit case—-wasn’t a problem.

    It’s gaping to happen as younger people cruise, if they want to fill the ship Silversea will have to change he rules if they want the business.

    I like the idea of a fee if you cancel. Some people book space just to hold something——someone that wants to book can’t because it sold out.
