  1. If you enjoy relaxation, extra pampering and service, few extra perks-the Vista in worth it. It depends on what matters to you.
  2. I agree—why wouldn’t you be able to order from the main dinning room. Even Regent, Oceania and Sea Dreams you can.
  3. When we did the cruise we took the credit and got a much better deal directly with Hilton. Because of my membership with Hilton we got breakfast and a suite upgrade.
  4. In my opinion you should good with the largest suite that will fit your budget. Your on vacation and you should have the best you can get within the budget.
  5. We stayed on the ship, they had a nice private lunch in the dining room.
  6. Well, we had a large of OBC, we purchased a world globe that turns, and a few extra teddy bears. That’s besides the normal stuff. We laughed about the globe, but it really is a conversation item at home.
  7. Nice reading, thank you for taking the time—enjoy your travel.
  8. Nice review, thanks for taking the time………….Looking forward to are cruise coming up soon.
  9. Once the only way we could get to Bangkok (living in California) we had to fly to Frankfurt, with layover connecting to Bangkok. Nice lounge in Frankfurt, took shower to freshen up)—-It was crazy but we had fun making it part of the Holiday. Being retired we had the time.
  10. We’ve stayed at some Marriott hotels in London much cheaper than the $1,000 a night. Check around, you’ll find a few. We just flew into London for a connecting flight LHR is a mess to connect but we did it without a problem. We also connected in Dallas to get to London—had we missed the connection they had 5 other flights going out that day.
  11. A good agent all the time. You always get more—but make sure they are good.
  12. Yes waitlisted means just that—you have to hope a cabin opens up. Now guarantee means you have space you just don’t know which cabin it will be in.
  13. If you’re booking 3 nights, you are better off booking the hotel on your own. Using a car service or taxi is best, no group of people, no waiting- you travel when you are ready with others.
  14. Sorry, but I agree with you—Silversea should enforce the rules or update them. I just get tired of people making statements regarding the dress code but think it’s OK for them to do what they want. That said I’d prefer a lighter dress code, but nicely done. But I can read the rules and will be following them as stated.
  15. It’s not worth the worry, we’re traveling next week -PSP/DFW/LHR/BCN—-if we make all the changes great—is not their will be another flight. Life is to short to worry about what you can’t change.
  16. Nice, but if you say you want people to follow the rules—yet you didn’t follow the rules. What makes it wrong if someone doesn’t want to wear a jacket- but wears a nice design shirt with slacks? Just a note: nice jeans isn’t a problem with me.
  17. If you don’t feel comfortable just do get on the bus. We’ve done that with a tour one time, the vehicle pull up-0-didn’t fell safe so we just said no. When into town on are own.
  18. One would think SS made you some type of offer, if not that doesn’t say much for SS as a cruise line.
  19. Bill, sorry but I don’t really agree. I realize what has happen and people and corporations are going through right now. However people have a right to except what they pay for during a cruise. So lines did better than others. It’s all what a person will except or what a corporation will give—once you see it you’ll stay or move on.
  20. Yes, before Covin. We did it in San Diego when the ship was in port. A little paper work, they charge you a fee for each guest at dinner.
