  2. The story does NOT say he was in the water for 2 hrs. It states that he died 2 hrs AFTER he was recued.
  3. As far as the shower curtain, you will have a bathtub enclosure and the shower curtain does not have the same issues as in a standard shower enclosure.
  4. Below is a link to a current long thread on the bidding process.
  5. Same for us, the Plus Package saves us a ton of $$$!
  6. I see a big move to subcontract all of the ships functions. They have already subcontracted the art program, the shops, and the Spa/Salon. And now the Future Cruise Program. What is next? Maybe subcontract the housekeeping to the Holiday Inn? The restaurants to Denny's? Maybe they can find a company to navigate the ships too! IMHO not a good direction to take!
  7. For us, it is soooooo worth the extra cost!
  8. As a general rule when we have a connecting international flight, we like to allow at least 3 hrs between flights.
  9. We also only book mini-suites. You will never get me back into one of the standard shower enclosures! 😀
  10. IMHO it is time to put this thread to bed, it has been beaten to a pulp! 🥺
  11. Here is a link to the original thread...
  12. We think the pricing is just right. 🙂
  13. Here is another very extensive thread on the bidding process. Have fun reading 55 pages!
  14. Below is a link to a recent thread on your topic.
  15. We were on the Regal this past Nov/Dec for 37 days and we were able to change the input via the bottom button on the TV.
  16. Our longtime TA has never been able to do that. 🤔
  17. Totally agree! We know many Elite cruisers that spend lots on every cruise, us included.
  18. Not if you are only doing a refare. If you have to cancel existing booking, then yes you lose your your EZair booking.
  19. Not in our experience, it has stayed the same...
  20. We have been on 11 TA's, all going west. We have had great weather and usually spend the 5 or 6 sea days in the Sanctuary. This past year, we did the crossing the 1st week of December on the Regal and the weather was great. We were in the Sanctuary for the entire crossing. Btw, we always book a mini-suite, the bathroom alone is worth the extra cost.
  21. We use the below detergent sheets, they work great and very easy to pack!
  22. We were on the recent 32 day voyage, Buenos Aires to LA, it's a great ship and crew! Enjoy your cruise!
  23. For now, the Blue or Green lanes have not made a difference for us. We go thru the Elite line and it has taken an extra 2 minutes for the check-in agent to retrieve our Medallions. This has been the case in US and foreign ports.
